This tool is used to crimp wire end ferrules according to DIN 46228 parts 1 + 4 from 5 to 23 AWG (0.25 to 16 mm²). It is not designed for use with butt connectors. I cannot recommend a specific model for butt connectors.
I'm not familiar with the terminology so this may be a dumb question but can you use these to crimp terminals onto wires like small electrical wires found on hvac units?
Cable links are apparently german for ferrules. Do not get this plier to install anything but ferrules.

Hi Chris, Thank you for the question. No, you have to pay online and then you can have the tool sent to the store of your choice for pickup or have the tool shipped to your house. (Orders of $45 or more get free shipping)
You may go to the customer service with the item number from off line then order and pay for them at the store. Then when they come in then you can go pick them up. Remember if you're looking for solderless connectors crimpers these are not the ones. These are for ferrules type crimpers.
