Will these cut 18g stainless steel wire? If not any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you for contacting Knipex. Our wire rope shears (95 61 190) has wire rope cutting capacity of 13/64" and that would be the tool we recommend.
The product description specifically mentions "soft wire rope". Would these be appropriate for cutting 3/32" stainless steel wire rope?
Hello, you may want to consider our 95 61 190 Wire Rope Cutters instead. The 95 61 190 is higher leverage and has a HRC rating of 64. It should work well with your 3/32" stainless steel wire rope.
can i cute wire cloth with this if not what do you recommend because i like to cut it to size for project there a thing gauge
These cutters are best suited for cutting cable or wire rope. For your project you may be better off using one of our diagonal cutters for cutting wire cloth.
