Thank you for your interest in our products! Our products work best when applied to flat smooth solid/painted surfaces and frames. We are not able to recommend using on fabric, felt, wallpaper, stucco or any other porous surface. If you need further assistance, please connect with our team on our website www.command.com using the “contact us” and reference this #36864431.
They stick well to standard painted wall surfaces. I've had several wall hangings sized from 8x10 to 24x24 hanging for now going on 5 years. If by materials you mean fabric, I have no idea.
Thanks for asking! No, this product requires at least a 1" wide frame for the adhesive to bond to. However, we do offer "narrow" picture hanging strips that can be used on a 1/2" wide frame. If you need further assistance or to view the product, please connect with our team on our website www.command.com using the “contact us” and reference this #36349728.
STEP 4 - frame has one strip adhered to frame with one liner on side of one strip opposite to the one strip side adhered to the frame. Remove the one liner from the one strip. Press frame and one strip against wall - one strip is between wall and frame. Hold frame against wall for 30 seconds. Now a part of one strip is adhered to frame (frame strip) and another part of one strip is adhered to wall (wall strip). Hooks on the frame strip mate with hooks on the wall strip. Now, frame is attached to wall. STEP 5 - carefully move the frame to separate the frame strip from the wall strip - disengage hooks on frame strip from hooks on wall strip. Now, frame is separated from wall. Press the wall strip against wall for 30 seconds. Wait for 1 hour for adhesive on wall strip to set up, i.e. build. STEP 6 - press frame against wall so that hooks on frame strip mate with hooks on wall strip. ENJOY!!
After applying the strips, you press the entire assembly to the wall for 30 seconds then remove the frame and it’s strips leaving strips on the wall. This allows the adhesive to set with no weight on it for the first hour.

Ok a couple of ways to do this. If you can remove the picture and backing from the frame it is easier. Place the strips on the wall aligning with the frame sides. Make sure it is level. Additionally and also top and bottom of the frame. Place the other side of the strips on the back of the frame aligning with the strips on the wall. Do not press them together yet !!!! Wait about an hour and then after putting the backing and picture in the frame align all the strips and press the frame against the wall strips with a little pressure. If you cannot remove the backing and picture then press the strips together. Remove the strip cover that covers the adhesive on each side of the strip. Then with a level press the frame against the wall. Holding it in place for at least 2 minutes. That should give the adhesive against the wall time to grab. That's how I have done it but caution if the wall is cold they have trouble adhering, plus I would not try to use them on a wall that has painted over wall paper.
BUY Alien Tape. as far as the strips go put the strip on the picture frame etc. and peal the backing off and stick it to the wall now separate the picture frame off the wall and push on the strips to make Shure they are fully adhering. 1 piece on the wall, other on the frame.
they didn't hold onto the wall for more than a day. everything fell down. don't use these!
Haven't had one damage a wall yet. Just follow the directions and pull straight down, comes off easy, and it doesn't leave a mark.
Hello. Command products removes cleanly. These picture hangers leave no sticky adhesive behind. Perfect for your dorm, apartment, home, and office.
Most of the time ( I guess 95%) Command strips come off by pulling the tab as the manufacturer claims. I do not recall a case of wall damage during removal.
No
Yes, but you MUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!!
Probably not. They have special outdoor adhesives I believe. You would want those that can deal better with temperature drops and the elements. It also depends on what you're attaching it to. Brick? Not a great idea.
