Manhattan Address Plaque Black

I love how it turned out with the mailbox and post.

The Address Plaque does exactly what it needed to do. Out mailbox was hidden behind our neighbors mailbox, before it fell over. Now delivery drivers can see it easier and find our house to make their deliveries.

I mounted it on the front of the trailer to indicate our address in the park. It actually fit on top of the propane cover which is made of black plastic so it looks like it belongs there, great fit!!

My "average" review does not mean that I do not like this product. This product works for what I was looking for, and it was available on the shelf at my store. I only needed the one side to face the street, and the letters are easily visible as the post/plaque are about 15 feet from the street, which will be great for delivery drivers, especially at night. Do I expect to get 10 years out of this product? Structurally, possibly, but because it will be in direct sunlight for over 6 hours each day, I anticipate having to change out the cheap vinyl numbers after 2 - 3 years. Thankfully there are plenty of numbers that come with it for my 3 digit house number, however, be aware that they tear very easily so you could burn through them if you are not careful. You'll find that out if you have to try to remove and adjust the number once it is on the plaque. Also, where the screws connect the base, there is a seam that can crack/split if you tighten the screws too tightly. This product is truly average, nothing phenomenal about it. It should realistically be priced around $10 - $12, but for a few extra dollars, I don't feel like I got ripped off. Just take your time placing the numbers on the surface, and especially be careful placing the reflective strip on the reverse side because it clings tightly and will not pull off without tearing. I put it on only briefly thinking I would do double-sided, but then changed my mind, and it was very difficult to remove and tore at the top.

Great product at a great price! Looks FANTASTIC

The process of applying the numbers was WAY too difficult. First, there were no guidelines printed on the material. I created some with a ruler and mechanical pencil, which do not show up once attached to the mailbox, but made a big difference trying to get the numbers lined up. Second issue, the supplied numbers are terrible. I had some from the last Address Plaque I had installed and used those. They were 'thicker' and have a more appealing look. Attaching to the mailbox was easy and looks nice once installed. I shopped around trying to find options and didn't really find anything readily available.

Easy to install and looks nice. The number could be a little wider to help installing them straighter.
