I have a Milwaukee dolly model #72222 and the wheels no longer retract when you lift the nose. Is there a fix to this problem? The spring loaded pin is still in place. I have owned the unit over 4 years.

            Answer This Question

Hi Bill - to lock the two wheels on the bottom of the cart you simply extend the toe plate until it's fully open. If you are referring to the little wheels in the back, you have to latch the axle bar in place. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our customer service department at customerservice@gleasonmilw.com

Wheel snapped off, unit is dead. Definitely had less than 150lb. load. Plastic wheel mounts seem inadequate but what do I know. Any recourse for one I’ve had for more than a year?

                  Wow! Broke within 5 minutes
Didn't even make it 5 ft before the left wheel snapped. It was only carrying a single moving box of books, 50lbs max. It was actually hysterical, we all laughed at how terrible this product is! They should change the name of their company to Fisher Price, its a kid's toy. Such poor craftmanship, I defintely won't buy from Milwaukee again.

                    Tires Garbage
Any hand truck products from this company are garbage. Tire rubber degrades rapidly and customer service openly state that tires should be replaced yearly....used or not. ????????? I would not recommend these products to anyone. The pictures are from a 2yr old product that was stored in a heated garage and used maybe 6 times.

                      Suboptimal casters
I wanted to like this dolly. I would have given it three and a half to four stars if Milwaukee hadn’t sourced suboptimal casters. The concept is solid, but the deck could be a little longer. The first dolly collapsed at fewer than 100 pounds. I swapped it out for another because I had the first less than a month. The second one fared worse which is an amazing QC failure. Save yourself the aggravation of buying this. Just throw USD 60 into the trash bin

Very useful for what I need and fold flat and compact to store in my car.
After doing a lot of research, I chose this hand truck to help with moving heavy or bulky items. It works really. It only took a minute to figure it out. The hieroglyphics on the attached label were not very useful. I learned pretty quickly to not let the front support fold up when sliding it under a box because that's what makes the wheels contract and fold in so nicely. I appreciated the help in moving some heavy boxes of tile.

                            Great Hand-Truck
Just purchases it, and moved a 6.5 cu ft refrigerator/freezer. Wheeled it off the truck, through grass and up 2 stairs. Worked as advertised. It is a little difficult to understand how to lock it in place, but once you understand it, it opens and closes perfectly. Folds for easy storage. I would but this unit again, Great price!!!

THING EXPLODED UP 1 STEP KILLED THE CAT
FIRST TIME using this dolly thats rated for 150/300#’s. I cant even begin to explain the sheer explosion of plastic I saw/heard/and felt. This piece of junk is honestly dangerous!!! MILWAUKEE YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN ON THIS ONE. The task at hand was a simple move the 3 drawer cabinet from the garage to inside. The step from garage to warzone is 5 3/4” tall. Like anyone in the world would do, i tried to walk it up the step. All the sudden it’s like a Desert Storm flashback. Dont buy this one guy’s. Really Really cheap stuff. Cabinet maybe weighs 50#

Very well designed and built. They've replaced the rivets in previous reviews with bolts and locknuts. I've had mine about a month and it's already paid for itself in the effort I've saved. I use mine to transport photo booth equipment for party face fotos events. It works well in both vertical and horizontal positions. I discovered that a 27 gal tote from HD fits like a glove, and 2 stacked carries almost everything in one trip. I'm really happy with this purchase and would recommend this hand truck to anyone.
