I'm confused. The description says weight capacity is 1000 pounds. Then the customer support says 250 pounds. My son weighs 300 pounds. So I'm not sure if I should purchase this chair??????
Hello there! Happy to help clear up some confusion. Furniture is measured by static weight capacity. The weight an item can hold placed on the piece. Like a desk, table, etc. Dynamic weight is the weight or force an item can withstand while that applied weight may shift, like on a chair or bed. Industry standard published weight capacity for furniture is to provide static weight. The dynamic weight for this item is 250 dynamic pounds. We hope this helps as you finalize your purchase. Have a great day. Customer Care (TJ)
