Can you still get the good metal oil fill caps.I have a 60 gal stand up model that come with the metal fill cap and i also have a small compressor that came with the plastic junk cap which in no time stripped out because thats what happens when you put plastic to metal

I did not find it in any of the three stores near me. It appears to be a specialty part that is not commonly carried in stock in the local stores. I have seen where some users just plug it with a bolt - VERY BAD idea as it needs to vent there.

The Husky L210VWD, 10 gallon air compressor, does require oil to be in the pump to operate. You will see the oil fill cap like the one you reference here on the pump. This oil is to lubricate the internal pump components. It is NOT a mixture. You will need to purchase a non-detergent air compressor oil which can be purchased at Home Depot in the air compressor area.
