While I like iced coffee, I don't think this foam is a good alternative.
Can I peel the layers in half to have 2 thinner sheets?
Hi there. In theory yes, but they adhesive typically makes it impossible to peel a clean layer with no inconsistencies and blemishes. I very much recommend buying two separate sheets instead.

The manufacturer does not recommend to glue layers of foam together. I'm sure it is possible though.

What would be the best way to label tools on this foam? Like if I did a pad for nothing but sockets and stuff, what would be the best way to label the sizes?

Paint pen is cheap & easy option - use white, silver, or other contrasting color.
Silver Sharpie is what I use
I dont mean the peel layers. I mean that the picture has three seperate sized sheets.
You need to order 3 different size sheets otherwise you will have to peel layers to get the thickness you need
While its been a while I figured I would give a full answer - In the picture you see the 57mm, 30mm and 20mm thickness of the Kaizen foam sheets. Depending on what you are adding the foam to, you can stack the foam to get the thickness you need.

My guess is has 3 different sizes to give the buyer a better idea of the difference. on size and depth of size(s) ordered. 57mm is equal to 2.24 inches. I ordered this size myself and it was 48" x 24" by 57mm. shipped flat
