I can’t figure out how to measure for the extra peg. It’s so close together, I can’t get my measuring tape in there to measure it
We placed the knob, aligned it and tightened enough to leave an impression. Then we removed the knob drllied the secondary hole at the point of impression and reassembled .
I am replacing existing oval knobs which are attached with 2 screws that are 7/8" apart. Will this knob work? Does anyone have a picture of the back side of the knob and/or the distance between the screw hole and the tit that stops the knob from spinning? Thanks!
I just purchased and may send back. How can I put these on my cabinet? The metal piece that comes out won't allow me to screw the knob in. I am in no way drilling more holes in my cabinet. What is up with that metal piece. Love the look but may not be able to keep.
Hello, There is no need to drill another hole into your cabinet. That metal piece that comes out of the bottom of the knob is called an escutcheon pin. It is supposed to be slightly embedded (pushed) into your cabinet door to prevent the oval knob from spinning while tightening the screw and during use. Thank you!
