Hi! Nickel-plated steel don't easily rust as long as the nickel protective coating isn't damaged or compromised.

What's the bar diameter? 0.5" or 5/8"?
The diameter is 0.5 inches.
Hey Serge, thanks for your question. The diameter of the bar for our cabinet bar pull is 7/16" or 11mm.
Would someone recommend a template to install these? I haven't been able to find one for these as these are too long for the other templates. Thanks.
Home Depot sells a cabinet hardware template by Liberty which goes all the way up to 5" center to center.
Hi Gigi, If you search for the ROKTMP, that should be a good hole center drilling template since it has the 3 inch hole centers on it.
Richelieu Door and Drawer value pack drilling templates Model #RICTEMPVPACK Was used for 3" center to center handles. worked out great
What size drill bit is required to make the necessary holes.
3/16” spiral bit (standard). I recommend buying or making a jig for speed and accuracy. Be sure to drill from the front and use a sharp drill bit to reduce blow out.
