Can they be painted?
Jane - Thank you for your interest in our Marino 30 in. Antique White High Back Wood Counter Stool with Fabric Seat; in order to paint the stool, you would first need to sand it down to its raw form, then apply your desired paint, followed by a protective seal. Please keep in mind, however, that if the item is altered from its original state, the warranty will be void.
Can the seats be easily recovered in a different fabric?

However, if you decide to move forward with re-upholstery the warranty for the item will be voided

Is it possible to remove these seat cushions easily to replace fabric/
The seat cushion is held together with screws; you will need to unscrew it to change the fabric

You can unscrew the seat and take it apart to reupholster. Not a simple job though.
There are no specifications about dimensions, how deep the seat is and how wide. What is the described color of the cushion and what is the wood? Is it available in stores?

The chairs I received didn’t look like wood at all, definitely not solid hard wood, maybe manufactured wood??
