The velcro straps on top of the Husky 20 in. Pro Tool Tote can be used to secure a long level. They could also potentially be used for other long items you want to keep secure within the tote.
Not sure of total weight but I’ve carried 60lbs of battery powered tools, m18 batteries and loaded with heavy fasteners, much to my shoulders’ dismay. This handled well. For home projects, this is perfect. Carries all tools needed for any inside job. For contractors, would recommend something bigger.
The tag on the bag says load rating is 88lbs.
It’s a strong tool kit. Easily 20-25 lbs, maybe more.
The divider is secured (before purchase) with a zip-tie in a small hole. This keeps the divider secured inside the bag. If you cut that ziptie you can pull the divider right out of the bag.
It comes included with the bag

I've seen it used for hacksaws
Hello Chern, Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This product is manufactured in China. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
I saw a picture where the velcro straps were used to hold a long bubble level.
Tool wall allows partitioning of tools. The wall can be moved to accommodate larger tools like hammer or combo square, or removed to allow for sawzall, etc. Not sure about Velcro straps(?). Mine has a slip pocket on one end and zipper pouch on the other, perfect for 16ft tape measure or other smaller tools like box cutter, blades, etc.
I've got to have around 40 pounds in mine ( power tools, hard hand tools and batteries) and I don;t transport if frequently but it doesn't seem to struggle with basically any amount of weight you could physically get inside the tote.
