Professional 30 in. Wall Mounted Range Hood in Stainless Steel

My contractor just installed my 30 inches Kucht range hood yesterday and vented it to outside. So far I have already put it to some test. I find it to be powerful for my cooking odors and grease at 900 CFM. I just wish there was a you tube tutorial on how to fix the clock. I am satisfied that it covers my entire stove and I don’t have to worry about vapors and grease escaping into the rest of my kitchen.

We installed the range hood with our kitchen remodel, and we love it! Powerful blowers pull up grease and odors, without too much noise. My husband knows when the bacon is cooking, because he can smell it when he's outside, that's how well the hood is removing the smoke and smells from the kitchen! The stainless steel filters are easy to pop out and clean. And, of course the hood is beautiful, too!

I had never heard about the Kucht brand before but while searching major retailers I filtered on "Highest Rating" and the Kucht brand was at the top of the list with many highly rated reviews. I spent a lot of time reading all the reviews and then decided to take the chance on the Kucht brand. First impression on product: Quality Stainless Steel - heavy gauge. Blower fan is very strong. Filter grates easy to remove for cleaning. Bright white LEDs are not my personal favourite so will be replacing with warm white LEDs to match the other lights in my kitchen. Bright white feels very industrial. Installation: Great that an install guide/template was included. I called trying to receive copy when my backsplash installers were on site but printable PDF copy was not available. Template included with the range hood was accurate and holes lines up perfectly to actual range hood when mounted on wall. Provided flex tube installed easily to top of range hood. Instructions for installing and adjusting the height of the two included decorative coverings were vague to non existent. In pictures you could see that there is still a 1.5" gap from the top of the decorative covering to my ceiling. Will have to google to get some tips on how to do this. All in all after just a few days I am happy with the product. I am optimistic that I will get at least 15 Years out of it like my previous National Brand range hood. The only area of opportunity is to improve the included instruction booklet to have more detail and to have a printable PDF template that user could reference before the product is delivered.

This unit is very powerful in moving the air out. It is also very nice looking. Installation manual needs improvement. Had some difficulty with the duct covers...the vertical space in our kitchen, although standard ceiling height, was such that the inner piece is barely exposed to screw onto the anchor piece. But it excels at its main function, which is to exhaust the air when cooking.

I purchased this wall Mounted range hood to complement my Kucht gas range as part of my kitchen remodel. The range hood not only looks great but it performs its functions with ease with the 900 CFM motor. Amazing!!!

Our new gas cooktop is 36" and having 5 burners, we needed at least 700cfm. We searched for a hood with the minimum cfm and low sound levels, and bought the Kucht 36" hood (KRH2610A), which provides up to 900cfm. It has a number of nice features, such as dishwasher-safe SS baffle filters, 3 fan speeds, quiet operation and LED light in the center vs back of the hood like some models, and a delay-shutoff function to run the hood for 15 minutes to finish clearing heat & cooking odors. The hood came well packaged with no visible damaged, and the SS hood and duct covers have a protective film on them. However, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, are very simplistic and translated to English from another language. There is a cardboard template which will be handy to mark the holes for the anchors when installed. The instructions state, "wall anchors and screws (not included)", yet there are two each plastic screw and two each wedge anchors and screws in the box (only two are required). The six screws (provided) to install the "non-return valve" could've been 1/4" longer, as you will need very firm pressure to get them screwed back into the housing after putting the baffle in place over the thick gasket. The "valve" has a round, 7 inch exit for the 7" expandable duct, so plan for the exhaust exit accordingly. There are no instructions on the website or installation/user manual to explain where to stub out the wiring/outlet. My electrician assumed a wired connection vs plug-in (like many others), but the website does indicate it is a plug. With that, I had to change the location of the outlet. So if you are thinking about getting this unit, make sure you open it up prior to finalizing your wiring installation or your backsplash. Overall, it is a nice, commercial looking hood with a 4 year warranty, but the instructions and wiring specifications need improvement.

The hood is well made and the suction power is great. The only downside are the lights underneath, either the two lights should be made to be brighter or add two more lights underneath on the right and left of the hood which would improve the lighting. With the large hood it over shandows the recessed lighting in the celing so when cooking on the range the hood lights are needed to view the range during the late afternoon and evening hours especially during the winter season when it gets dark early.

I am very disappointed with the product and customer service. Despite having it professionally installed, the hood came with a defect. The non-return valve is faulty and doesn't seal properly, causing an air leak at the back. I had to deal with several technicians before one finally admitted there was an issue with the non-return valve. Throughout the process, customer service provided inconsistent and unhelpful information, clearly demonstrating poor communication among their team.

Top self range hood that matches our Kucht range beautifully. Super simple operation with basic buttons to fire it up and do what you need done, exchange air. Too much tech is not needed here, it great. I installed this myself and found it super easy. The directions are poor and should be upgraded by the manufacturer but I figured it out and installed it without any problems. The air exchange and simple grate cleaning is exactly what you want in a professional range hood. Love the LED lights and touch controls We are very happy
