Will there be any issues if it's installed stand alone? I like the look.
Hello, thank you for reaching out! This model is designed primarily as an under-cabinet range hood, so most installations place it beneath upper cabinetry. However, it does not require surrounding cabinets to function. As long as the hood is securely mounted to a proper support surface and installed according to the venting and electrical requirements, it can be used in a stand-alone style installation. Does this hood require changeable charcoal filters or does it only have dishwasher safe filters in the ductless option?
Hello Sean! This range hood would only require charcoal filters if you were to convert this to a recirculating range hood, and not duct it outside. Regardless of the ducting, the stainless steel baffle filters refer to the stainless steel vents at the bottom of the range hood. These are removable and protect the range hood motor from grease splatter. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for any further questions that we can help answer!
I too just had this hood installed and the two light bulbs were not included. Seems to be a problem when packaging the hoods. I will call the customer service dept number that was provided to another customer.

There are two cutouts with light sockets, what type of light goes in? There wasn't anything in the box.

Does this hood need a trim piece or cabinet above? Love the look, but would rather not have a trim piece.

The recirculating system on top of the range hood is necessary for recirculation purposes- it's not a trim piece. What is the height of this 30" range hood what are projections of top and bottoms?
Hi there, Thank you for your inquiry. The dimensions for this hood are 30 in. W x 24 in. D x 22.75 in. H. As for the projections, the bottom is 24" and the top is 12". Thank you.
