The Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw offers powerful cutting performance with a variable-speed motor with an electronic blade brake. It provides safe cutting with plunge-cutting action, a fully shrouded blade, a retractable riving knife and integrated anti-kickback features. The Plunge Saw is versatile, too, with bevel cutting capability from minus 1° to 47° and 2-1/8 in. maximum cutting-depth from the included 48-tooth, carbide-tipped blade. With a 12 Amp motor the Plunge Saw delivers cutting power, plus control from variable-speed and an electronic blade brake. An included dust port and bag collect chips to minimize cutting mess and provides the ability to connect to a vacuum hose. The Plunge Saw is designed to work with the Adaptive Cutting System 62 in. Guide Track to deliver straight, smooth, splinter-free cuts in solid wood, plywood and other sheet goods. Plus the saw offers integrated safety and ergonomic features that make it easy and safe to use. The saws blade-left design is optimized for right-handed users and provides superior cutting visibility and control. 2-year saw warranty.

Can two sections of the 62" track be combined together and if so does the 62" track sold on its own come with the required hardware?
Yes, you can combine two pieces of track to allow you to do longer cuts. The track does not come with the hardware to connect them. You would need to purchase the ACS445 Guide Track Connectors.
Is the track discontinued? Is my saw useless?

Thanks for the question. The Kreg ACS2000 will include the Kreg ACS Saw and Track. However, the Kreg ACS Saw and Guide Track can also be purchased separately at the same price point.
will this product work with the accu- cut 48" track system?
Thank you for your inquiry. The ACS Saw will only work with the ACS430 62" Track.
Will this saw fit other brands of tracks? I.E. Makitia, Festool, DeWalt or Mafell tracks?

can the cutting system RIP boards down like 1xs.
Thank you for your inquiry. You sure can use it to cut down 1x material. The only thing for safety reasons, the smallest cut you can do is 1".
