Questions & Answers
The material is described as premium polyester. Specifically, what is the material? I am worried about it holding up in strong wind and against prolonged exposure to UV.
Our DT Covers are a strong grade polyester with an inner coating applied after production, to ensure long term weather protection is in place. The material is UV coated and protected in a limited amount. This means if the cover is left out 24/7 in Texas sun / climate (Example) – the black color of the cover will slowly fade. (Any other cover will as well). Our DT cover is made for trailering and distance. However, like any cover, if you have big open air spots in the cover or folded areas once your machine is covered, be sure to apply additional bungee cords or ratchet straps – to ensure the pocket areas where wind rippling would occur / will not tear apart the cover. With some simple procedures when hauling your cargo– our DT Covers last for years. Our RAIDER covers have been sold for decades. Thank you, Raider Powersports
