Are the bristles pure brass or just brass coated?
I used this brush to clean up a gas grill and chose the brass bristles so it wouldn't scratch the stainless steel which it didn't. Because of this my assumption is that the bristles are pure brass.
how can you clean the brush when it is caked with stripper and paint?
Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, If the brush was used to remove paint with the help of liquid stripper, then cleaning it by rinsing with hot water should work relatively well. If the brush was not cleaned in a timely manner, and now paint is stuck on in it, stripper is still the best option. It is not much different from cleaning a paint brush.
