Could the Wynd 42” light kit be removed or capped? Or be used without the light?
Ye, the Wynd 42″ can be used without the light. A metal cap is included to cover the light opening.
I need 5 fans to cover my porch. Can all five fans work off 1 switch or 1 remote control?
Yes, you can control multiple fans with a single remote or wall control if they are Modern Forms Smart Fans. They use Bluetooth technology, and as long as the fans are within range of the remote or wall control, they can be operated together. Additionally, you can control them via the Modern Forms app. The instructions on how to group fans for control are included with the product and available online.
If two or more of there fans are in close proximity how do I ensure each fan is controlled be it's own dimmer?
Each Modern Forms smart fan can be controlled independently using its included Bluetooth remote control, an optional wall control (sold separately), or through the Modern Forms app. The Bluetooth technology allows for individual control, even when multiple fans are installed near each other.
What color is the Wall Control F-WCBT-WT? Can I get it in Ivory or Almond?
The Wall Control F-WCBT-WT is available in white. While ivory and almond aren't available for this specific model, you might consider exploring other wall control options or checking if other Modern Forms fan models offer those colors.
When the power goes out does the light come on when power is restored?
Both the fan and light should return to their previous state when power is restored.
Does the fan have a reverse option on the remote?
Yes, The fan direction can be controlled using the remote.
Can the light be controlled with a standard light switch? We have extreme frustration with the wireless remote getting knocked off or having to hit the wired switch light button squarely in the middle in a dark room.
