The QEP Diamond Grit Tile File features a fine diamond coating on both sides to smooth the edges of all tile after cutting. It is compatible with ceramic, porcelain, glass and stone. The combination flat/round design smooths straight edges, as well as internal and external curves. This file also smooths other materials, such as laminate flooring and backer board.

You may also want to consider, The QEP Glass Tile Nipper is designed to easily cut irregular shapes in glass tile, between 1/32 in. to 1/4 in. thick, without the use of conventional cutters. What is the length of the file itself and what is the grit number?
The file itself is 5 inches long and although there is no mention of the grit it is in my opinion about a 60- 80 grit and does a good job on tile.
