Questions & Answers
Is the chimney in the front, middle or rear of the hood?
Hello dear customer, Thanks for your interest in our product. The chimney is located at the top of the unit. Thanks.
I see it has two segments for the chimney. Can I use just one of the segments to Mount it? I?m going over a range that?s in front of a window.
Hello dear customer, Thanks for your interest in our product. The unit can be installed with only one chimney segment. Thanks.
Can this be mounted on the wall instead of hanging over an island?
No it can't.
Why does it state “Convertable” Kitchen Island Mount range hood? Whats convertable about it?
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. Convertible means the range hood has the option for a ventless installation. An outside exhaust is not required. Kind regards, Support.
Just purchased online and took plastic off of the front of the hood vent. There are two deep scratches on the front plate of the hood as well as the control panel completely scratched. Is there someone who can repair? Or any warranty for this?
Is there an extension kit for this for higher ceilings?
Is there an extension kit for this for higher ceilings?
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. The range hood is designed for 8-8.5 ft. ceilings. We do not offer extensions however, we do offer segments that may be used to add length to the chimney. They are 19.69" H and you may use multiple segments. We also suggest checking with a sheet metal specialist to avoid having multiple seams in the chimney. Kind regards, Support.
Can this unit be hardwired to existing light circuit instead of adding ceiling outlet.
Hello Ray, Thank you for your inquiry. We suggest that you contact a local professional for hardwire questions. Modifications to the unit may void the warranty if damages occur. Kind regards, Support
where would I order more extentions for taller ceiling heights for this product?
Hello Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. The range hood is designed for 8-8.5 ft. ceilings. We do not recommend the use of extensions or additional segments for island mount range hoods. Kind regards, Support.
