Stainless Steel Silver Bollard Light Outdoor Waterproof Garden Solar Warm White LED Pathway Landscape Light

Purchased 3 of these to place along my house they are absolutely beautiful! These are very well made and very easy to install could not be happier!

This bollard is lightweight but nicely made. It is stainless steel so it won't rust and it is built to last. The solar panel is right on top for easy exposure to the sun. The solar cell charges quickly and stays lit most all night. The application is great for a driveway or walkway. The light is very easy to see and is bright but not overpowering at night. It is very easy to assemble. The instructions are easy follow. The EZ anchor lets you put it in place and keep it there. There is a level in the base to help you make sure it is level. I love it.

My very first Gama Sonic lantern back in 2013. I asked a friend to drive by and is still lighting the front entrance to my former home in March 2022 - that's 9 years! Gama Sonic lights are quality and long lasting. Over the years I've installed multiple Gama Sonic lanterns - a pole lantern at the rear porch at steps, a pillar mounted lantern at garden entrance and wood post mounted lantern at my front entry steps. So when I saw the bollard style lighting Gama Sonic hit the market I knew I needed at least two to light the front stone path from drive to entry steps. The build is substantive and high quality. The horizontal fins surrounding the lantern glass directs light at multiple levels. I can't say enough about how much I like the look of these bollards. The light is adjustable at low or high and like all Gama Sonic outdoor solar lights, the last through the night on low and well past midnight on high. The bollard light comes to you in four easily assembled pieces. But the bonus is the innovative mounting spike. At 16 inches and 2 inch diameter, these mount spikes are easily screwed into the ground with the included wrench. The innovation is the spirit level on the top end of the spike making it super easy to install straight. The interior base can be removed and act as your pattern for perfect placement. The lantern glass has two horizontal ribs at its base that screw into the bollard that has a spiral rib pattern that grips the lantern glass ribs. it can be a little tricky but take your time and you;ll find they fit together perfectly. The solar top and light portion attach with the top of the metal fins. It's a quick and easy assembly with an even easier install. I'm waiting for our soil to dry out a little before installing to ensure a solid install.

The Gama Sonic Solar Bollard Light is a very substantial outdoor fixture. As the name suggests, it is a bollard shape which refers to a short, sturdy post. This model is black stainless steel but this product also comes in polished stainless as well. The design has a really nautical feel, as might be seen on docks at a marina. I think a line of these would look fabulous poolside. The large LED bulb throws substantial light through the glass lens and has lasted basically all night on a solar charge. This light can be installed on a flat surface or in the ground by using the EZ Anchor provided. Instructions are provided for either situation but I wish they were slightly easier to follow. I really like the anchor installation as the anchor is really large, solid and the turning bar is also quite large for a good grip. It’s great that this is powered by the sun and performs so well. Apparently, replacement batteries are available for this unit which is a huge benefit. Expect to be impressed by the brightness of the light!

Very nice looking light, very big and bright. Since it's stainless steel I would assume that it would last for quite a while, especially in the Chicago area. As you can see from the attached picture, the "EZ Anchor"/auger is something else - it has to be a good 12 inches long. Getting it in the ground was not the easiest thing to do but I don't think this light is going to go anywhere. The included "Turning Bar" was a big help in getting the auger in the ground. Since I can never get anything straight or level, the built in "Level Tool" in the top of the auger made it very simple to get the light even and straight. Right now I have the lamp head set in the high position and it is plenty bright along the driveway. They also included 2 other special anchors if you would prefer to mount the light on a flat surface such as a deck.

This is another excellent product from Gama Sonic! The quality is exceptional and it looks awesome wherever it is installed. This dusk-to-dawn bollard light can be screwed onto a flat surface with the included screws or it can be installed in the ground with the ground stake and adapter using the sturdy L-shaped turning bar (about 13" x 7/8"). Another great feature is that the auger has a built-in level. (I don't know how many times that I have put in a ground stake only to find that it is not level and have to redo it.) The auger sits about 12.5" underground and is almost 3" wide. It is not a small solar light - the 24" size is impressive. The top of the light has a diameter of 8", and the tempered-glass round solar panel has a 4.75" diameter. I love that it is stainless steel and the lens is glass (the auger, adapter, and battery compartment are plastic). The included bulb (C37-10W-11) provides a bright 100-lumen, 2700K light. The switch lets you set the brightness for High or Eco mode and an Off option. There are 2 battery compartments that each hold a rechargeable Li-ion 32.V/1,000 mAh battery (easily replaced because of the attached connectors). Instructions are included and it has a limited 2-year warranty.

This solar light is perfect for lighting up any area. It is made out of heavy duty metal so it is very durable. It takes less than 10 minutes to put it together. There are a couple of ways to install it. Since it is heavier and has glass you have to really support it well. It comes with a support system that has to be screwed into the ground at least a foot. It is fairly easy and fail proof to screw in the support. This one light replace 7 smaller solar lights that I had, it is actually brighter than the other lights.

My previous experience with solar-powered walkway lamps has not been positive. The solar cell or the lamp slowly degraded over a period of about a year until there was only the faintest glow from the lamp. My hope is that this Gama Sonic 214801 Stainless Steel Bollard Solar Lamp–with its promise for “a lifetime of enjoyment”– will be the one I’ve been looking for. At its price point, I expect it to function with peak performance for many, many years. § My lamp has no noticeable defects in craftsmanship. The type of stainless steel used for the lamp is not specified, but it’s one of the non-magnetic varieties. It has a brushed finish that so far (two weeks) has resisted water marks. I installed my lamp with the auger bit. It definitely took longer than “seconds” to install–more like 15 minutes. And in the clay and rock soil near my sidewalk, it was considerable effort to keep the auger perpendicular while screwing it into the ground. I actually had to screw it in twice to keep the bubble in the center of the built-in leveling tool. § The 2700K color temperature is what I would call “warm white.” The lamp is spec’d to provide an 8-foot radius of illumination, but I’m not sure it’s that large. The decorative rings surrounding the glass lens prevent the light from uniformly illuminating the area surround the bollard. In my photograph you can see the shadows cast by the rings. § I live in a neighborhood with relatively little vandalism, so I’m not too worried about someone stealing the bulb and solar cell charger. But it would be very quick and easy to steal. At some point I will no doubt have to replace the rechargeable lithium ion battery. Referring to the GAMA SONIC website for a replacement, it looks like it will cost $14.95+8.00 shipping for a replacement battery. § I'm giving the lamp an overall rating of four out of five stars. If I was sure that the lamp would perform well for ten years, I would rate it at five stars. Made in China.

This is a beautiful light. It's very well made and extremely sturdy. The finish is really pretty and this light really stands out. It is a large light; 2 feet tall and quite robust. It adds so much to your space and is such an eye catcher. You can set the light on low or high. Assembly is pretty straight forward. Be sure to put the glass inside the louvered top before screwing it to the pole. I LOVE the spiral anchor that makes this light so secure. I have really hard clay ground on the spot I chose, so the bar it comes with to twist it into the ground is so helpful. It even has a built in level! It is so well anchored into the earth. It also comes with anchor screws if you want to anchor it to your porch, for example. It looks absolutely gorgeous and has inspired me to put some colorful ground flowers around it now. I highly recommend this very beautiful and very nice quality light.

The only way this bollard light could be any better would be if someone else installed it for me! I did find it to be a bit tricky to get the glass onto the pole of the light itself, just like the instructions said it could be, and, just like they said, if you try getting it to go on at a bit of an angle (counter-intuitive!) it will go on just fine, which it did. Once I had it all together, I couldn't wait to show my skeptical husband (he didn't think I could put it together myself) how good it looks, and works! Very bright, very useful near our front door, I am proud of myself for getting it done so quickly, and it gets enough sun in this spot to be very bright at night!
