Questions & Answers
If using in a 5' 7" bed, what is the longest ladder this rack can support? I have a 28' Aluminum ladder, do I need a full over-cab ladder rack to transport it or will this rack be sufficient?
This rack has an adjustable width, fitting truck beds from 5 feet to a maximum of 7 feet wide. While it can accommodate the width of your truck bed, the product information specifies a maximum height of 27 inches plus the height of your truck bed. Therefore, it's designed to carry items extending *above* the truck bed, not items extending *beyond* the length of the bed like a 28-foot ladder. For a ladder of that length, a full over-cab ladder rack would be necessary for safe and secure transportation.
