ShowerStart TSV 1-Spray with Hot Water Saving Thermostatic Valve Wall Mount Handheld Shower Head 1.5 GPM in Chrome

A nicely made shower head and came well packaged. I like the hose attachment and had been wanting to replace the fixed head in our master shower. The thermostat feature seems to work very well. The shower is at the far end of the house and it always takes a bit to get hot. Usually, we get distracted after turning it on and tend to waste a lot of hot water. As advertised, when the water gets hot, it kicks off until you're ready. Then, just pull the chord and off it goes. Note that's it's still important to balance the temperature, as the thermostat is not a scald protection device (says that clearly in the instructions). Just turn on the water as usual, from habit, then fine adjust the temp when you're ready. The unit is quite easy to install. I do wish that the head would pivot down a little further but not a deal breaker. It could be the fixed angle of the pipe out the wall.

Product comes safely packaged & with instructions that are easy to follow. Easy unscrew old shower head and add this new one. Handle is light weight, although I was hoping it was medal and not chrome plastic. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars and only 4. Long supply cord is easy to manipulate and reaches all hard to get to spots. Adjustable spray is easy to use.

The Evolve multifunction hand shower was delivered quickly and upon opening the box I found the quality to be excellent. The unit consists of a variable spray shower head, flexible hose and transition piece that contains a temperature sensor. All the parts are chrome finish. This is an innovative design that I have never seen before. The unit works as follows: First you turn on the warm water to the shower head and let it flow. It normally takes a minute or so before it gets warm. When it reaches 95 degrees F, the water automatically stops flowing from the shower head. This is the signal that the water has reached 95 deg F and is ready. There is a short stainless steel wire that hangs from the transition piece with a ring on the end. Pull the ring and warm water starts flowing from the shower head. This is all done with the main faucet still on. With this concept you don’t have to keep feeling the water to determine when it gets warm. The sensor does it for you. Clever design. The installation was very easy. It took about ten minutes. It actually took longer to write this review than to do the installation. Very happy with the product.

Set up was easy & straight forward. It came with teflon tape which was a plus. I like thoroughly enjoy the hot water saver feature with a simple pull of the cord. My youngest uses the most hot water and this intricate design allows him to adjust the water flow at his convenience which I thoroughly enjoy. The adjustable water flows, along with the saver makes this product amazing

The product was impressively well-packaged, with everything neatly and carefully arranged. Right out of the box, it was clear that this showerhead was built to last. It has a satisfying heft and a high-quality, substantial feel to it. The showerhead was not oversized, but just right for a comfortable grip. The hose was longer than most of the cheaper showerhead options which I like very much. The box included clear instructions, all the necessary hardware, and even a thoughtful addition of a small roll of teflon tape. Installation was incredibly easy. In just 5-10 minutes, I had it set up with no leaks or issues to report—truly hassle-free. I was particularly excited to test the ShowerStart feature, as I’m always looking for ways to improve water efficiency. True to its description, the feature allows cold water to flow freely until it detects the right temperature, at which point it reduces to a trickle. A quick pull of the cord restores the full spray. While I’m still figuring out how this might fit into my routine, it’s a clever concept that I hope to fully appreciate over time. As for the showerhead itself, it offers three distinct spray patterns, each delivering a smooth and consistent flow with no leaks. It’s clear that this product is thoughtfully designed, both in terms of functionality and build quality. Overall, I’m impressed with the experience so far and am confident in its long term durability.

This wall mounted shower head was very easy to install. I love being able to save hot water with the pull cord feature and how the unit resets once it is turned off. Having three spray choices is also great. The handheld shower head allows me to clean the shower walls and I like how easy it is to clean the shower head by rubbing it while the water is on.

This hand shower has a valve that stops the water flow when the water temperature reaches 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The installation is the same as any other hand shower head. Graphic and bi lingual text instructions are provided if you have not replaced a shower head before. Cleaning instructions are the same any other shower head with soft nozzles. The hand shower handle has a switch to stop the water if you are trying to save water. You may have to pull the tab again to start the water flow after you switch the water back on at the handle. “How ShowerStart TSV Works” is documented on the box and in the bi-lingual instruction paper. Trouble shooting steps mention following the directions, ensuring there is at least 30 PSI and no obstructions. The temperature sensing valve means more moving parts. Evolve provides a three-year warranty. Installation took less than 5 minutes and the multifunction hand shower worked as described. I set the water temperature to the hottest setting. The water flow was cold initially out of the hand shower and stopped when the water was hot. Pull the tab and the water came out of the hand shower. The instructions did warn you to check the temperature before using because step one was to set the water temperature to the hottest. This is not an anti-scald device, documented on the box, the instruction sheet and the pull tab. The anti-scald warnings make sense because the first step is to set the water temperature to the hottest. This hand shower is designed to save water. It has a 1.5 GPM flow limiter and the hand unit switch also has a shutoff mode. I like the temperature sensing valve and the shutoff position in the hand shower handle switch.

This was ordered online and shipped to my home without issue. The installation of this product was fairly straight forward. You'll need a wrench to remove your existing shower head. and then you'll want to apply the included plumbers tape to the threads before installing the mount with the valve. all in all, you're talking about 5 minutes to install. This is a great low-flow option for a shower head as it's rated at 1.5 gallons per minute. However, This shower has a thermostatic valve that is supposed to reduce the flow of hot water once it gets past 95 degrees. I have yet to see this function actually work on my shower head. The flow of water stays constant from the moment I turn on the shower and the water is frigid until I get in a hot shower. The valve is useless in my unit. If you are looking for a low-flow option, I would recommend this. If you are wanting the reduced flow option to conserve hot water, I would not recommend this as it doesn't seem to work on mine.

The spray shower head with water temperature sensing. This is a very different product for sure I'm still on the fence about this shower head and it's functionality. I'm not excited about the pressure it puts out I feel like something is preventing it from using my current water pressure so I'm only giving three stars if pressure were better five. I like the fact that when you turn it on and set your temp knob it starts running then stops when temperature is reached you then pull the chain to start the shower so this allows you to do other things if your aren't ready for the shower just yet. Things like going to the bathroom brushing your teeth maybe you forgot something and need to run out of the bathroom so you don't have to turn the shower off on fear of wasting your hot water.

I sure was excited to receive my Evolve Technologies shower head. It has a thermostatic valve that works great. You can start the shower and it will shut the water off when the temperature is reached, then you just pull the cord and it turns the water back on. This sure is helpful and helps save water. The color of this item is chrome and grey. the shower head has three spray patterns, (full, massage and pause) which are nice to have. This evolve technologies wall mount massage handheld shower head has a flow of 1.5 gallons per minute. the hose length is approximately 72 inches. It came with great instructions and were easy to follow. It even came with some plumbers tape. It took me about 15 mintues to remove the old shower & install this one. Great product!
