Hello how much weight do the shelf?s hold
Not much at all. I actully wouldn’t put anything other than a small fake plant or vase on this.. I actually returned mine because the plastic lantern part is actually bright white and not light brown..

How do you change out the bulbs after assembled?
There is easy access to change the bulbs, on the upper lamp there's top access, on the lower lamp it is easily accessible from the bottom. This lamp is very light and easy to move.
very simple. to change the bottom light bulb, just unplug the lamp from the socket and lay the lamp down sideway on the carpet and change bulb

Can the top light be used without turning on the bottom light? The only way the top one works is if you step on the on button on the floor and then pull the chain to the top light? Thank you and I love the light, just hoping I can just use the top one without the bottom all the time!
Hi, for this item the foot switch control both lights on/off, and the pull chain only work when the bottom light is on. It can't be only use the top light without bottom light.
