Brittany 36 in. W x 23.5 in. D x 34 in. H Single Bathroom Vanity in Mahogany with Serena Quartz Top

I own two James Martin vanities, both appear to have problems with the soft close hinges. I think the manufacturer has spent more time arguing me a contractor with 36 years experience on how to properly adjust a hinge when the doors slam shut on the one vanity. The other side, the door closes softly, but will not close all the way. It would’ve been much easier just to send out for hinges, but I guess they’d rather let people know their true colors. Thanks for the disappointment.

This vanity was installed as part of a bathroom remodel. I was skeptical on buying this vanity since there were no reviews on it. After searching thru hundreds of vanities, I decided on this one. I knew I wanted a dark colored vanity but I was sold on the countertop with this one. After studying the specs, I did all the measurements myself to make sure it would fit in my bathroom. I wish I could have bought a larger size, but I could only get the 30" since I have a small bathroom. There is a precut section for the pipes and my contractor cut out the holes for the shutoff valves. He then attached it to the drywall using drywall screws. He installed the sink and countertop on top of the vanity using silicone. Beware of the contractor/friend who doesn't like to read the directions...lol. Since this was his first time installing a sink that was separate from the countertop, the sink was installed on backwards. Thankfully, he realized it after leaving and came back, read the directions, and corrected it. The challenging part of installing this vanity was the faucet. Since this is a 30" vanity, the inside is very small and tight. After a little struggle, he was able to get the faucet in. The last part was attaching the included backsplash to the wall with silicone. I gave 4 stars for value because I thought it was a little overpriced for this size and the two drawers (which in my opinion, could have been 3 drawers). I believe it's because of the charcoal soapstone countertop, which I love. It's very easy to clean. I just wipe it down with a cloth or paper towel (no more water stains). The sink is different from my last one because it has a flat even bottom. My other sink had a slope to it which made anything in the sink go down the drain easier. This could be good or bad especially if you drop something in the sink that you don't want to go down the drain. The inside space of vanity is very small and has a removable shelf. I keep toilet paper on top shelf and cleaning supplies on bottom. It has a pull out drawer where I keep our toothbrushes and toothpaste. This is nice; it saves space on countertop. It has two soft close drawers (the one on the bottom has an organizer inside it (nice). I changed the knobs to brushed nickel to match my other brushed nickel decor. It came with satin nickel (which are nice too). I am overall happy with this purchase. I love the look of dark mahogany and the charcoal soapstone countertop. I recommend it if you are looking for a small vanity. I also attached pictures.

This is a very nice vanity. The Silestone quartz in Jasmine Pearl is simply beautiful. The vanity is well made and of good quality materials. The one issue with this vanity is that I had to cut the back and through the support for the drawers to get my plumbing to fit (which I believe is a very standard set-up). I had to buy a hole saw for my drill which worked well but nevertheless, was a pain to do. In hindsight, I would have bought a model without the side drawers and just two doors to avoid cutting the drawer support. Other brands come with an open access on the back that requires no cutting. I was worried about delivery damaging it, but is was packed well, no issues.

This vanity is better than custom cabinets I had made. It is very-well packaged to prevent any damage to the vanity, top, or sink. It is solid wood with no MDF. The finish is excellent and the soft-close doors and drawers work fine. They are heavy but that is good, since it is stand-alone. There are adjustable legs to level the vanity before attaching the top. It came with a genuine Silestone top and backsplash as well as a wooden backsplash and undermount sink. Evidently, the Silestone backsplash is unique to James Martin vanities ordered through Home Depot. If you order them from James Martin, you will only receive a wooden backsplash. The hardest part is that you have to assemble the undermount sink to the Silestone top. I recommend a 10.1oz tube of White GE Supreme Silicone caulk for kitchen and bath (SKU # 942324). Holes are predrilled for clamps. Assemble the sink to the top before mounting the top to the vanity. The price of these vanities seem high but when you consider you are getting a superior product and don't have to buy a separate Quartz top, it is an all-in-one deal.

The vanity is beautiful but countertop and sink awful. Countertop may actually have a design flaw and faucet hole drilled on wrong side making the portion closest to the body very deep and part with faucet very shallow. Toothpaste and water will drip all over front part of countertop and back part is so shallow the lever for drain hole can't be pulled up because it hits the backsplash. Sink is so shallow water splashes all over countertop when faucet is turned on medium or high. Not worth the price.

This vanity is well-made and sturdy and would definitely deserve 5 stars. However, why it was called sage green is beyond me as it is a light Apple green—not the look we were going for—so I can only give it 3 stars. Unfortunately, there was no time to replace it as a renter was moving in.
