Unexpectedly surprised
Unexpectedly surprised how cool this vest remained in a hot and humid environment for several hours. When dry, the vest is light and fits snug, but when saturated, the vest seems to expand and fit big, plus you can feel some extra weight to it. Overall this vest kept me cool without making me feel wet. I used this vest without the optional ice packs.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that wearing this vest is actually very warm and sticky. It may take time for the vest to "break in", as it is not particularly absorbent in the first few wearings.

    It kind of works I guess. I didn’t get ice packs, so to use it as-is, you have to soak it in water. If you don’t want your pants to get soaking wet you have to wring most of it out and absorb all the water from the bottom 1/4 with paper towels or something. Water which is slimy after being in there. Weird.

        Good quality
        It is a little thick but good quality. It does help keep you cool for a little while but where I live it's around 105 to 110 degrees all summer so the vest dries pretty fast. It is light weight and fits well (I am 5'4" and 155 lbs. & got a medium). Overall it works well and does help with cooling and keeping you cool.
