The ultra deep base satin finish I had mixed into a historic color to paint my stucco and ionic columns with. It went on very well after I used the clear primer to hold down the loose paint. I wasn't sure how i could get all the old paint off. Especially the lead paint on the trim. So the clear was super...and the deep based colored covered really well. You could tell is filled in small gaps holes in the stucco on the first coat. I like the elasticity and richness of this paint. And when it dried it had an even and beautiful satin sheen. I normally use Sherman Williams paint. Especially the Super Paint . This paint or stain as they call it has similar qualities. Sheen. Density of color. Richness . I like painting with it. It sticks well to the brush and roller. I am going to spray it next. I feel confident it will give me a long lasting lustrous deeply colored paint job and will last at least 20 years . So yes I feel like I found something really special.

This is a PAINT not a stain
This product is marketed as a stain. This most certainly is a PAINT. If you are looking for any colored aspect of the surface you are applying this product to show through, this is not for you. The coverage is exactly what you’d expect from a paint, thinned or not. This does an excellent job of covering colored imperfections…as a PAINT should. NOT a stain, as this is marketed as.

I recently moved to a new home that has a cement patio. The previous owner had stained it and the stain was badly worn on the entire patio. I didn't want to try using the same again (he left a few containers) because it didn't hold up well. I found the Prema-crete on the HP website and decided to give it a try since it could be applied with a roller and not a sprayer. It was very easy to apply and the coverage was excellent. I bought two gallons because of the coverage information, but after the second coat i almost was able to complete it with just one gallon. The instructions recommend letting it dry 72 hours before "tire traffic". I did find that after 24 hours, the surface would scratch if patio furniture was moved. So I touched up the spots that were damaged and let it dry for several days before moving furniture again. Now the surface can withstand any type of movement without being damaged. I am very happy with the results and it couldn't have been easier. Plus, you can choose any color that you want.

        Ordered by mail... it EXPLODED!
The idea was to make some mushroom-shaped birdhouses out of Paper Mache to cover up some tall tree stumps. But EVERYONE knows that paper mache will not stand up to the weather for very long, unless cement is a main ingredient. This is a brief description of the project. Using a bowl and a balloon as my basic shapes, I covered each with heavy magazine paper mixed with CEMENT ALL from Home Depot. When each layer of paper mache was dry, I coated it with PERMA-CRETE COLOR SEAL SATIN INTERIOR/EXTERIOR CONCRETE (also from HD). Then another layer and so on. The PERMA-CRETE is thick, covers well, fills in cracks, and paints smoothly with a brush. BUT, I ordered the paint by mail. It exploded! Lesson learned. Even so, I salvaged enough of the paint to use. The final layer was GLIDDEN MAX FLEX Exterior Fabric Spray Paint and Primer – one can of OATMEAL and one can of PEPPERED PECAN.

        Good concrete paint
This Perma-Crete Color Seal 1 gal. Base 1 Satin Interior/Exterior Concrete Tintable Stain will be a great improvement on my garage floor. I have not decided what color tint I will mix with it yet. The paint is very thick, however, you can thin it down with water if so desired. It can be applied with a brush or roller. This paint seals the concrete so it is water and chemical resistant. Hot tires will not damage it. It can be used indoors or outdoors and can be used on garage floors, sidewalks, pool side, patios porches among other places.

        Even sticks to 100% sylicone
I needed to mend the cracks and chips in the concrete step at our driveway. Using what I had on hand, I filled the gaps with water-phobic caulking that's also a really strong adhesive. After caulk dried, I brushed on one coat of this concrete stain. It's water based and beaded up on the caulk, but dried. The second coat covered completely. I did a third coat for a little extra insurance. This stain goes on more like a paint. The instructions say to dilute a bit and apply one thin coat so it gets absorbed by the concrete and then apply a second coat at full strength. The untinted stain is very white which gives the step a good safety feature - should prevent visitors tripping. This white should stay clean for a while since it's a vertical surface. A water test resulted in good runoff and the surface didn't feel slippery. I used a screwdriver to do a scratch test and the 48-hour dried paint peeled off. I think the trick is to dilute the first coat, which I didn't do in this case. We'll select a grey color and have this tinted to use in our garage and front porch.

        Best concrete floor covering
I am waiting for the temp to come up so I can install this in my garage. Must be warm enough. Perma-Crete is an easy to apply concrete coating. You can add color for the look you are going for. On the patio or garage floor. This will look great and hold up to anything you can put to it. In the garage, when you pull your car into the garage after going on a long drive in summer. The tires will be hot and this Perma-Crete will hold up to it and not make tire spots. Check out the plastic ring on the can. Really helps to seal the can. Easy to clean and stay looking great for years to come. Here is the floor I am going to cover next week – after I clean it up.
