Questions & Answers
The wallpaper is not sticking to lightly texturized wall. Is there some way to make it adhere as I love the pattern.
Thank you for taking the time to post your experience. We're sorry that this product did not live up to your expectations. NuWallpaper is not compatible with textured walls. We encourage you to reach out to The Home Depot's customer service team to arrange a replacement or return.
The ideal texture is totally smooth, more like an eggshell than an orange skin. You don’t want any peaks or points. These can cause air bubbles behind the wallpaper and prevent the adhesive from doing its job. Your best results will be over eggshell finish paint that doesn’t have a stain-blocker.
Can this be applied to wood ?
Greetings Jody, This is a great question. NuWallpaper can be used to decorate a wide variety of surfaces. If a surface is smooth, flat, dry and clean, and is not a non-stick surface, NuWallpaper should adhere. We recommend ordering a sample to test before ordering and installing rolls. Happy decorating!
