[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a ice cream maker because I love ice cream and thought it'd be fun. I love the color of this one and how simple it is to use. I followed the instructions step by step but was very disappointed with the results even after freezing the inside container overnight again. I got left with more of a slushy mango mush than more solid and thicker consistency and this was after adding 20 minutes to the already mixed product. The 20 minute advertising is definitely misleading because that doesn't also include the freezing overnight. This would be fun to use if it worked correctly and especially if you have kids to experiment with flavors and toppings but I wouldn't recommend it based off my experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG! I love this Green Life Scoop Express! The set up is simple and easy and you must chill the bowl at least 24 hours before making your treat. You can make ice cream, yogurt, or sorbet with this machine. I used the chocolate ice cream recipe that is included in the booklet and it turned out great. The recipe took about 10 minutes and mixing it in the machine took about 20 minutes. Once it was done it was ready to serve or freeze in an air tight container. I can now make my own ice cream flavors and come up with my own recipe. This is my new favorite kitchen gadget.

It stayed like a melted soft serve with a cottage cheese consistency. Never tried the frozen yogurt it may turn out better than the ice cream did. This is nothing like the old school ice cream makers wasnt to impressed with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used an ice cream maker nor had I heard of the green life product brand. This ice cream maker is a 1.5 quart, it's small but mighty! It has been super easy to use & works great! We have used store bought toppings, syrups & cookies to make awesome ice cream! It has been a huge hit with the kids but I've loved it too. Fresh ice cream is so great. It's easy to clean & put together, the instructions are very clear & overall it is a super easy product to use. You must freeze the inside bowl first (overnight works best) & the finished mix must freeze at least 2 hours after mixing is completed to make the right consistency of ice cream. I couldn't have asked for an easier, more fun product to own. It makes a great snack & has turned into a great family bonding activity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream cooker is amazing! It's a great product to use with your kids, especially when it's raining outside and the kids become stir crazy! It comes with recipes for ice cream, sherbet, etc. inside the manual, or you an find one online. It's easy to use, and add toppings such as cookies, peanut butter, chocolate chips, before mixing all together. This also would be great for someone who may be lactose intolerant, therefore you could substitute milk for almond milk, or coconut milk, or whichever you decide. It makes the best ice cream you've ever tasted!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, we are enjoying it. There are seven parts to this product that allow easy and fast assembly. It also comes with a manual that includes recipes. First, we placed the freezer bowl in our freezer for a couple of days before using it the first time. We prepped all the ingredients before we brought the freezer bowl out of the freezer, so the freezer bowl does not defrost too much. Once you pour your prepared ingredients through the chute, it doesn't take long to start to freeze. As it's churning, it will make some loud noise as if it's stuck or jammed. This process will create the mixing paddle to go the opposite way. Once it starts repeating the sound chk on the ice cream, it is one way to know your dessert is ready to be scooped into its final destination container. We allowed it to rest in the freezer overnight to let it solidify much more. When washing the freezer bowl, I would suggest adding cold water to melt what is left frozen along the bowl wall. I would not recommend using hot water right away as the freezer bowl will still be cold. This could have been why our first maker (different brand) freezer bowl stopped freezing after a couple of uses. While it is dishwasher safe but I would suggest just hand washing it. Once it's dry you can place all the parts in the housing for easy storage. This ice cream cooker has worked well so far.
