About This Product

This little hydrangea from Baucom's Nursery is extremely compact with great branching, and is much easier to manage in production. Deep green leaves are a beautiful backdrop for the late summer flowers that are held up on strong and sturdy stems. Born in a tight cluster, the blossoms are initially green and open to a creamy white. As evening temperatures drop in the fall, the petals turn antique shades of white and pink. The small size, reduced need for pruning, and large flowers make this an ideal choice for smaller landscapes where larger traditional panicle hydrangeas won't fit.

Questions & Answers

I need to know whether these are 3 to 5 inches in mature growth or 3 to 5 feet in mature growth. I sure hope this isn’t a miniature pinnacle.

Answer This Question

No panicle, regardless of dwarf variety, will ever max out at 5” tall. That was a typo.

Hello, can I plant these in morning, shade and hot afternoon sun

there's a discrepancy between the product information and the image regarding the mature size of the 2 Gal. Little Hottie Panicle Hydrangea. The product information states a mature height and width of 3-5 inches. Image says in feet. What is correct?

This little guy took a route right away and is doing very well. It appears there was plenty of fertilizer in the pot from Home Depot and I expect this flower will do well and continue to thrive for years to come.

      Beautiful hydrangeas arrived safely
My first time taking a gamble with ordering live plants online, and I'm glad I did! A branch was broken off from one of the three, but it should still be fine. The other two arrived in perfect condition. Beautiful, large, healthy plants!

        Beautiful! Better than expected!
These came boxed in a pair. The left 2 were in better shape but all were still better than I expected.

Plants came in great shape but were small!
I ordered 12 hydrangea little hottie plants in the 2 gallon containers. The hydrangeas were well packaged and arrived quickly from a nursery in NC. They were in great condition with green leaves sprouting. My biggest problem is that they were much smaller than the average 2 gallon sized plants. When I took the plants out from the nursery pots, the root ball was about the size of a quart container and most of the container had soil and wood chips. That's why I gave a lower rating for value.

Must have been dead when I purchased. It quickly lost leaves and did not survive even though I planted immediately and watered accordingly.
