A heatsource at your fingtertip with the added remote control. Instant heat! We love it!
A heatsource at your fingertip with the added remote control. We're going to place the heater tube to our outdoor patio gazebo. Just in time to stay warm outside during the cooler weather season coming soon. The heater has three settings 500W, 1000W and 1500W with instant heat. The convenient 45 degree swivel bracket attachment is easy to move up/down with the added allen wrench. It can heat up to 250 square feet of space. The cord is six feet in length. All hardware included allen wrench, mounting bracket, three screws, three anchors, butterfly nuts/screws, installation manual, tube heater and cord. Such an easy and fast install in minutes. It measures two feet in width, four inches in height in a stainless steel finish. It's lightweight and fully functional during our outdoor patio gatherings. We love it!!

Gets hot instantly
I have a new patio cover that is made of metal and for the cooler weather I thought a patio heater would be a good idea. This EdenBranch Golden Tube Wall Mounted Patio Heater with Remote seems like a good selection, but I need to figure it out for my application. The pros of this heater certainly outweigh the cons. It is constructed well and has all the necessary brackets for mounting. It appears that you can mount it vertically or horizontally. It boasts 3 options for heat intensity. 500w, 1000w, 1500w. I turned on the 1500w and felt a mass of heat instantly. And man, it was hot. The nice part is, the heat comes out the front, but it is minimally warm on the back side. The remote is also a nice addition. Especially for overhead mounting. It came securely packaged but make sure you take out the foam pieces that are placed through the front grate that hold the heater elements. If not removed they will create a mess and could cause a fire. The challenge I have is in the installation. It recommends that you have a foot and a half from the top side and the sides. Yet, with the bracket attached it only mounts 7 inches from the surface. Not sure how you can get it to the recommended depth. Second, the cord is 5 foot 7 inches and you are cautioned against using an extension cord. (I've done that on another heater and it burned up the plugs.) It recommends that you keep the heater a minimum of 5 foot 9 off the ground, but the cord is shorter than that, you have to have an outlet close by or overhead. That complicated my installation. Overall, I like this heater and it might be better suited to hang over head in my workshop, which has overhead receptacles. For my patio, I will have to figure it out. I would still recommend.

Good heater, need to figure out placement in my application
The EdenBranch Golden Tube wall mounted patio heater heats up almost immediately and puts out a good amount of heat for a small unit. It has 3 different heat settings so you can use the amount that you need. It should be useful during those cold months. I just need to find a good place to hang it on the wall in my outdoor patio. The cord is about 6.5 feet long and the instructions say it needs to be at least 5.9 feet from the ground. If the outlet is roughly a foot from the ground that means I have about 1.5 feet to work with to each side of the outlet. Outlets are spaced throughout the wall and are rarely in the exact spot you need. I can use an extension cord, but it is not recommend for long term use. I think we'll eventually add an outlet in the middle of the wall, but I need to plan for that and hire an electrician. Another thing I didn't like about the heater is that I toggle the switch on the unit to on, but then I need to use the remote to activate the heat. I have been known to lose these small remotes so I don't like that I have to have it in order to use the unit. It would be great if this was directly on the machine itself. It was also difficult to figure out the controls because it wasn't 100% clear in the instructions. I also wish it came with a quick start guide. Once it was at full power, the metal around the back and sides was warm, but it was not hot to the touch. I liked the construction and function of the heater itself. I just have problems with the install given the short cord and the start up.

Would Not Recommend Model 101017
There are two models of the EdenBranch Golden Tube Wall Mounted Patio Heater with Remote. Model 141017 has a button on the Remote to activate an Auto-Off 24hr Timer. Model 101017 does not (see pic). With no Timer and no Thermostat, there is nothing to turn it automatically Off. If you forget to turn it Off, it stays On. With people who tend to forget things (e.g. Children, Elderly or Wine Drinkers) this is a major problem. I also do not like that there is no way to control the Heat without the remote. If you lose the remote, or it breaks, the Heater is worthless. There is a Power Switch on the side, but it only turns On the unit, not the heater. It does not toggle between 500w, 1000W or 1500W (like the remote). The unit has no Memory. Without a Power Switch that toggles to a heat mode, you cannot plug it into a Smart Outlet and control it that way. On top of all this, when plugged into a GFCI/AFCI Outlet, it blows the outlet every time the heat turns On (clearly it Arcs [the directions state the 'Heater has arcing parts inside'] ). It works in unprotected outlets (hence giving it 2 Stars and not 1 Star), but anywhere I would want to use it, I have protected outlets. Finally, the cord is 68" (not including the plug). For something that is typically installed near a ceiling. The length limits where it can be installed; basically right above a floor outlet (extension cords are not recommended on 1500W Heaters). The Specs claim it heats 250 Sq Ft; which I assume is an enclosed space. I was hoping to 'warm up to this', but it is going back in its box. P.S. there are 2 foam pieces (see pic), I assume to hold the filament during shipping. I removed them, although I see no mention of them in the Instructions?!?!

Nice patio heater with unpacking safety caution
We were looking for a patio heater to take the chill off cool evenings and extend time outdoors. The Eden Branch Golden Tube Patio Heater with remote looked to perfect for our needs. The patio heater came with hardware mounting kit and a remote control. It also came with a use and installation instructions that contained a lot of safety precautions and use warnings. However, it lacks very important unpacking instructions that could contribute to smoke or fire hazard. There are two soft plastic neoprene holders that attach to and support the Quartz heating element tube from the front of heater. There are no instructions, labels, or warnings anywhere to remove the tube holders prior to operation. Without warning labels or instructions, if heater is operated with the packing holders in place, there is high risk of holders burning or catching fire. I caught the issue immediately when noticing smoke and on first second of operation and immediately removed the two tube holders by pulling gently straight back from the face of heater. Once the tube holders were removed, the unit performed very well. The remote allows for selection of 3 different power / heat levels. I’m looking at the Unit and reading warnings, it’s not recommended to be mounted in a wet area and should not be directly exposed to outdoor elements. I plan to mount on house wall side of the patio for optimal protection. Overall, I would rate this patio heater as higher but safety must come first! The lack of any unpacking and / or clear warning labeling of a critical safety step is something that needs to be corrected. I
