Purify 3 White Air Purifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A must have if you live in NorCal. This has been a very dry year so I decided to get another air purifier. I like this one because it has a convenient handle bar so I can bring it from the living to the bedroom at night. You can also hide the cord underneath when you’re not using it so it looks nice in the corner without any cords. There’s ambient lighting that you can turn on or off and but I don’t use it. I would be careful with this around kids because the cover is very easy to pull off which is convenient but if your kids are grabby, it’ll come right off. In general, very effective. Light hum and sleek design.

This air purifier not only cleans the air using true HEPA filtration, but it has a carbon filter that traps odors in your home and really helps the air smell so fresh. I can actually take this portable air purifier into any room because it is so light, and easy to transport. I love how clean the air feels, and this PURIFY 3 Air Purifier has 3 speed settings for which I can choose if I need light filtration to a stronger level 3 cleaning filtration. I love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may sound funny but I bake and also fry a lot of fish. The entire house will smelll.....fishy. Those days are gone because I am using my new Purify 3 Air Purifier. I like everything about it. I especially like the compact size and the handle. I can carry it easily to any room, it's not heavy. I put it in my bedroom at night when I sleep. When I am frying fish, I sit it in my kitchen. Other than it working wonderfully to clean the air, I do love how it is so easy for me to move around. Some times I am spending several hours at a time online and it's so easy to keep my air clean in my office. I feel like I am breathing fresher cleaner air. The cord is very long and wraps nicely up under the bottom. The filter is easy to change too. The front simply snaps off and on. No aggravation! It comes with a little instruction booklet and there is absolutely no assembly at all. Operation is simple too. Push button on/off, three fan speeds push button, ambient light push button, and the heap and carbon filter button. It will even let you know when it's time to change the filter by way of a light illuminating.

It has a cover over the filter with no air holes, all the air flow has to go around a small gap around the sides of the cover making a lot of wind noise, restricting air flow and probably using a lot of electricity. The low and medium speeds are very low and may be okay for a really small area, the high speed is very, very loud. There are indicator lights on top of the unit. To make this usable, I removed the filter cover completely and turned the unit toward the wall, so It would not look so ugly without the cover, put tape over the indicator lights so they would not disturb my sleep. I want a fan to drown out outside noises, so the low and medium speeds are too quite forcing me to use the high setting, but it is really difficult getting used to the excessive noise this thing makes. The only good thins about this product is that it is reasonably priced, and has simple switches as opposed to digital controls making it easy to operate and probably giving it a long life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the sound level of this purifier. While it’s pretty quiet, the sound it does make is very “white noise” and monotone. My husband has allergies so we run this in the bedroom constantly since he seems to sneeze mostly at night. We’ve had this a couple of weeks and so far so good, much less sneezing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Sharper Image Home Comfort Purify 3 Air Purifier. My house is a zoo for animals. I have 4 dogs, 5 birds, 1 hamster, and 1 hedgehog that all have their unique smells. This system has done wonders in my living room where us humans and animals spend a majority of our time. I noticed a huge difference right away with how clean and fresh the room feels. Even my other half who works on the road could tell a huge difference when he came home. The filtration system captures 99.97% of airborne particles including ultra fine particles. The carbon filters helps to trap odors. The pre filter can be hand washed to help reduce the cost of filters. There is a filter indicator light to give you a heads up when the filters need attention. There are 3 speed settings to help achieve freshness. Even with being on the highest setting, the noise level was quiet. I wasn't having to increase the volume of my tv so I could hear it. I will defiantly be investing in a second one to use in my bedroom so help with the dog smell in there.

Its a smaller unit so perfect to put in a corner to save space. I definitely feel its working as the air has felt fresher. We have cats so I feel an air purifier is a must in our house. Its super quiet and hardly noticeable. When the filter needs replacing there is an indicator to alert you. I am also a big fan of the ambient lighting. I think its a great investment.

We have a dog and a cat and they both sleep in the same room with us (same bed too, don't hate us), so hair and dust can easily intrude more than we'd like. This purifier does a great job keeping the room clean and has three different levels. The first two are not loud at all, the third is a bit loud, but that could be preferable if you like some kind of white noise to sleep with.
