About This Product

Crack Jumper Shovels make shoveling faster and safer than all other shovels by adding snowblower skid shoes to the shovel blade thereby eliminating the hassles and hazards of hitting sidewalk cracks. Skid Shoes are an engineered component that lifts the shovel's blade up when it comes in contact with cracks and bumps. For the challenges of deep pack our 21" Razor Scoop is the only option with its unique knife blade combined with an oversized scoop pocket which also includes our patented crack jumping skid shoes.Beyond our revolutionary blade, Crack Jumper Shovels offer numerous bio mechanical features making shoveling safe. For starters, if you are taller or shorter than the "avg person" our adjustable length handle fits the shovel to your height. Then the best in class 2-handed grip which is smartly called the Easy-Back puts you in the proper posture to avoid back pain.

Highlights

  • Injury avoidance - the multi-patented blade rides over cracks and uneven surfaces protecting you from potential injury due to jarring stops, the unique "knife like" shape of the blade cuts into packed snow and ice with far less resistance than standard shovels
  • Prevents lower back pain - our holistic ergonomic design reduces bending, twisting and the unnecessarily strenuous way of shoveling that causes body pains and injuries
  • Designed for your comfort - equipped with a 2-handed forward directional grip that relieves your body from excessive bending, the market exclusive adjustable-length handle allows you to properly fit the tool to your height (ideal for those 5 ft. to 6 ft. 3 in.)
  • Easy to use - a simple, straightforward mechanism tailored for ease and convenience
  • Made with quality materials - with a handle made from heavy wall coated steel and tough ABS plastic that will not warp and twist like cheap poly-made blades, it's definitely a value for the money

Questions & Answers

Can you explain what the differences are in usage between the 21" and the 24"? I see that the front shape and obviously their dimensions are different and I'm wondering how this affects the usage of each model.

Answer This Question

Does the shovel scratch the Aztek composite decking sold at Home Depot? Is the tip of the shovel likely to gouge the decking at seams?

Answer This Question

This shovel is designed with features to minimize scratching. The blade has skid shoes that lift it slightly, reducing contact with the deck surface. However, no shovel can completely eliminate the risk of scratches, especially at seams where the decking material may be more vulnerable. It's always best to be cautious when shoveling on any type of decking.

Works with mulch too!
This shovel's unique edge works equally good on mulch as it does hard packed snow. The big pocket holds a lot of too. I highly recommend it for it's good and it's made in America.

After 50 years of shoveling cracked sidewalks . . . well, I wish I'd have thought of this 50 years ago, sold millions of them, and was now just hiring somebody to shovel my sidewalks. Works great!

    Uniquely good
Nice to see innovation - works great. Best shovel I found for deep snow.

Much better than a grain scoop
I found this scoop shovel much easier to use and thus easier on the body. The blade's leading edge is virtually clean of any obstructions which make cutting into packed snow or mulch nearly effortlessly. And the skid shoe works great too for jumping sidewalk cracks. I highly recommend this shovel.

Big improvement over my old shovel.
This shovel looks different than the others and I see why, because it is better. It scoops snow effortlessly due to its low leading edge profile, and then the snow flys off simply due to its clean design - limited sidewalls. I use it everywhere, up around the house and even at the roadside. No more metal edge shovels for me, they damage my concrete. I really appreciate this product.

          Great for heavy packed snow.
I love this shovel. The flat "knife-like" edge really cuts into hard packed snow while the deep pocket holds more snow than my other shovels. Very creative product - highly recommend it.

It really works for hard pack snow and ice
I like this design because few shovel designs address the need to dig out hard pack snow typically left behind by the city plow. I really like that it glides across my driveway cracks. Best shovel for digging out where my drive meets the road.

              Not impressed .
The only thing I like about this shovel is the length of the handle. The modified d-handle is awkward and the soop doesn’t jump over cracks. It may be perfect for some folks, but not me.

                Great Ergonomics
This is a very good ergonomically designed product. The grip, it is the only design shovel design tested that puts the user in a position of good posture; the handle is adjustable in length to match the users' height promoting good posture and low muscle and joint strain, and the predominate overall design that facilitates pushing versus lifting is extremely critical as many individuals lift improperly.

Nothing like it - best ever.
Heavy and packed snow is no match for this shovel. Not only does it jump the cracks in my old drive, but it also cuts into hard pack snow like no other shovel I've owned. The city plow truck caused me nightmare for burying my drive, but this shovel makes that chore much easier. Like my granddad said, the right tool makes all the difference.
