Sirrine 17.25 in. 2-Light Black Outdoor Wall Light Fixture Sconce with Clear Seeded Glass

These are very nice lanterns for the price. The issue we had was installing the 17” & the 20” are held on with one thumb screw. No matter how tight you get that screw the lantern will sway. We’re going to add more support. Beware in windy locations.

Really looks nice on the front of our house. So easy to install. They were on sale too..

The Sirrine Wall Sconce is a larger type outdoor wall sconce. The fixture measures 20 inches high by 11 inches wide by 8 inches deep. The fixture takes 3 (up to 40 watt each) candelabra base lamps. The light is held on the wall by 1 thumbscrew which may lead to the light moving a little if not tightened enough. There is no wall gasket so you will need to caulk this light in to prevent water from getting behind the light fixture. The glass lens has a “Rain Type” finish to it which is nice looking. With an open bottom, this light is not fully enclosed which can lead to insect intrusion and cleaning of the light periodically required. Parts are all supplied for a complete installation on an exiting “Flush” wall box. This is a nice looking large light that should have been enclosed to prevent insect intrusion.

My initial reaction when I opened the box for this exterior wall lantern was "WOW"; I don't think photos do it justice!  It is beautiful, reminds me of the gorgeous lanterns that we see on Christmas cards or in Christmas scenes in movies.    Its frame is solid, strong, all metal, also color black, which looks really sharp.  The glass is rain glass, which compliments it beautifully, adds a really nice touch.  It takes 3 candelier bulbs, which have a small base; these are sold everywhere, and they come in LED, so they will throw loads of light, use little energy, plus LEDs last a long time.  Candelier bulbs also look really amazing when lit.  I will add that my home only has one exterior fixture by the front door, not two, therefore, I am thrilled that it has 3 bulbs to really light up the area, especially since I live in a rural area with few street lights.  Our winters are also harsh, snow & ice are brutal, also dangerous.  I want the front steps/front walkway well lit; this light will do it!  I like well lit steps, walkways any time of year as a safety, also a security issue; crooks don't wanna rob a house that is well lit. So its not only beautiful, but also highly functional!  This is a light that I think will really get noticed, be the subject of loads of compliments, "where'd you get it, I want one; it is beautiful"; it is also unique, again, it reminds me of a lantern.  The bottom of the fixture is totally open for super easy access to replace (3) bulbs.  Lastly, for me, this light projects a sense of warmth, like when I see it, I will know that I am home.  I consider it more than an outdoor, wall light; I consider it a really extraordinary light that will add a special element to my home, be a marker or a beacon to me...  that again, when I see it, I will know that I have arrived home, just like in the Christmas cards and Christmas movies... it will light up my home...    I love it, am delighted that I found it!  I also expect it to serve me well for many years.  No regrets, it is beautiful, also highly functional, its design was well thought out. Well done!

Was a little surprised by this fixture was a little bigger than I was expecting but turns out was just the right size that I really wanted. Not much to installing fixture is just install the mounting plate to the electrical box and attach the wiring, a little tip install a piece of wire or other stiff item out of attachment bolt an tread thru hole in fixture so you don't have to try to find it when attaching fixture, as is really hard to find without the wire I had used. Then when up and nut attached is just install pipe sleeves and bulbs. I tried 2 different bulbs (see pics) and fixture works great and provides great light.

The Home Decorators Collection Sirrine 3-Light Black Hardwired Outdoor Wall Lantern Sconce looked big when getting it ready for our wall just outside the door to our patio but it is the perfect size! It is a very elegant look, and our candelabra bulbs do make it a very bright light at nighttime. There's no bottom to the fixture which concerns me a little with high humidity/moisture in the air, but rain doesn't fall upwards from the ground so I guess I shouldn't be concerned. All hanging hardware is included and an easy job at that.

This is another great Home Decorators Light, from the Sirrine Collection. It is a 2-light wall mounted lantern that has a farmhouse to transitional style, made of metal and a black finish. Has all hardware included to install to you outlet box for new or to replace you old lantern, about 15 to 20 minutes for this installation. You will need to purchase your E12 base bulbs(candelabra) from your local Home Depot Store, they have a great selection. I would use LED bulbs (40 watts maximum for each bulb) for longer life and the different color temperature range. This is a outdoor wall mount lantern, wet rated, weather resistant,17.25 inch height,8 inch width,5.75 inch depth. With the farmhouse to modern look and the seeded glass shades,it will fit any style home. Has a 5 year limited warranty and the quality of this product you will enjoy years of service. I will be using this for one of my updates to my home.

I received this Home Decorators Sirrine Outdoor wall lantern a few days ago and it's the perfect size i was looking for. I wouldn't recommend this for a smaller size area as it is a larger wall lantern. It has 2 light bulb sockets to make it a brighter light. The glass is seeded and has ripples and has a tan tint in it which gives it a fancy look. The black metal around it helps to bring out an olde world look as well. To clean the glass is easy just use a soft damp cloth. Its very easy to install and comes with a warranty.

We recently purchased this large 20” light fixture to update original lights from 2003! It’s big, bold and beautiful! Easy to install, the only drawback is that the fixture is too large to hold flush against the wall with just the one mounting screw ! My husband improvised and drilled another hole higher through the back of the fixture and secured it with a black screw. Now it holds tight against our stucco wall. Overall, very happy with this purchase and it definitely was a good update !
