The heat is nothing like a heating pad like so many misconceptions. This heat is a radiant heat. It also relieves any aches and pains you body has. This I can attest to especially joint pains. I like the fact that you are in control of the temperature and how long it runs for. This is a king size to boot. My wife is always cold and I am not now each side has its own independent temperature controls. Which can be adjusted to the liking of each. This can also be laundered, always follow the instructions. Both cords are removable and are very long. This will be the go to as it is light enough for summer use.

I am so glad I found this sunbeam ultra fleece heated blanket! It is so soft and cozy. You can immediately feel the warmth when you crawl into bed. My husband isn’t as cold natured as I am so we love that it has the personalized dual zone with controls. So he can turn his side down or off and I can turn my side up as warm as I want. It has 12 settings and you can even select a 12 hour auto shut off. Machine washable, just remove the cord and controller. We absolutely love it

It has dual controls, so no more arguing with the hubby about being too hot, we can each set our side and sleep comfortably through the night. This is a huge king size blanket, is a deep beautiful color and has a nice thickness to it, so whether you have the heating part on or not you’re going to be toasty and warm. This has 12 heat settings and a 12 hour timer, Sunbeam thinks of everything and makes fantastic products that last!! I love my blankie, it’s the best!!

I purchased the Sunbeam fleece electric blanket hoping that it would provide a warm bed for our cold New England winter nights. Unfortunately it didn't live up to that expectation and I returned it. I wouldn't recommend this product.
