[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy it is to use. I tried it on a bag of Cheetos and it worked perfectly! I did not think it worked at all because it was so silent and did not make any noise. It sealed the bag perfectly! Overall; absolutely amazing and so quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was wasting so much food using regular freezer bags, things always seemed to end up with frostbite and a few times bags opened as I was getting them out of the freezer leaving a huge mess. Whenever friends gave me frozen meals they used vacuum sealed bags and the foods tasted as good as fresh so I wanted to start saving foods smarter too. First, you get 4 nice size rolls of make your own bags for use along with the 2 vacuum seal bags and attachment to use when canning or when using the resealable vacuum bags. The actual Nutrisealer wasn’t hard to master using the easy start instructions. I liked that they added a recipe book with the sealer, the chili recipe was pretty good. I mainly use the sealer for frozen foods but it’s helped me save tortillas that normally end up hard and stale when I try to make them ahead. This just might be the perfect solution for longer term food storage because foods are no longer frost bitten or stale. I can make larger batches of chili and lasagna and freeze portions rather than just trying to do smaller ones. I learned to roll out my ground beef so packages take up less freezer space and thaw quicker and using the sealer it stays fresh tasting longer term and no freezer burn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many vacuum sealing machines and I had high hopes for this one but it just did not meet my or my family’s expectations. I like that it is compact and stores really easily but that is about it. It is built flimsy and is hard to keep steady while in use. I have tried sealing many things including ground beef, cooked fish, dried fruits, steamed veggies, homemade jerky etc and every single time the bags never truly vacuumed sealed. It appears to seal while in the machine but never stayed vacuumed. Each and every time the bag would expand with air after sitting. There has never been a true vacuum seal to anything I have tried to store. Even the sealing of the bag itself took a double seal to guarantee it was heated shut. I tried over and over many times to get a real vacuum sealed bag to where I felt comfortable to store my food but I never succeeded. Not what I expected at all. Not a machine for my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the PXL DUO NUTRISEALER today. This is my first vacuum food sealer and I’ve been excited to get one. I had an already cut avocado and a whole avocado and decided to try sealing both. I sealed a bag in half and put each one in a side. I lined up the bag, then pushed vacuum & seal. It began to seal and I could see the air being removed from the bag. When it stopped vacuuming it looked as though both sides had filled up with air a bit. After it sealed I decided to try again. I cut the bags apart, opened up the seal in the cut avocado and started again. This time it vacuumed and sealed very well. I believe this was a learning curve. I tried sealing a couple of other items, cereal bag, bag of crackers & a bag of pasta. They all sealed great. The cutter was a little difficult to use but I only tried it once so far. I’m pretty happy with this product and hope to be able to save time, space and money (food saving) in the future.

It comes with eyeliner need to get started and is so easy to use with just a press of a button. It stores easily without taking up too much space. I used it to seal Hamburger, Chicken, Steaks, and Beef tips I bought in bulk to save money. I also sealed home made stuff shells and more. It has a built in cutter making it easy to cut the right size bag every time. It’s really as easy as 1,2,3. Definitely recommend everyone own one to save money and make your food stay fresher longer.

What I like about this product is one the instructions are simple and easy to follow with pictures and step by step instructions. I love that this product come with 4 rolls of bags they are all different sizes and lengths. It’s also easy to use the machine to make any custom size you want. The machine is also quick and easy and does not take long at all. I did ten pounds of ground beef yesterday in no time. I am looking forward to using this in years to come. I would recommend this to friends.

I’ve had to throw out a lot of food because of freezer burn even though I had the food in good freezer bags, somehow the air still got in. I love this machine because when food is on sale I can buy extra and seal them up and I don’t have to worry about freezer burn ever again. It’s easy to make the individual size bag you need, pick how large you want the bag lay on the machine, run the cutter over it, then simply seal the one end, put your food in the bag, place the bag rough side down between and under the guides on the machine, press vacuum and seal and it removes the air and seals the bag. I’m 100% satisfied with the performance of this vacuum sealer.

This nutrisealer came with enough packaging materials so I was able to use it for weeks of food. I am surprised about how easy it is to pack your food and it keeps it fresh for weeks. It does not take much counter space so I just put it in my counter and seal everything that needs to be sealed to keep food fresh - be it chips, veggies or meat products. Love it, will be a great gift for Christmas too.
