Plaza 1-Light Black Outdoor Warm White Solar Integrated LED Lamp Post Light with 3 in. Fitter and Wall Sconce Options

This is such an eye-catching, aesthetically pleasing light. It’s a dusk to dawn, high or low light. The fact it comes with both, wall or post hanging fixtures makes it more bang for the buck, additionally we have ability to change up how & where we use it. We are currently using the wall fixture on our outside entertaining area, which is rough appearing by design; but this light looks great in that setting. We really feel this light fits almost every setting. Hubby says he may put it on a post in a more isolated area of the yard & the fact its solar powered lets us do this! Anytime, anyplace! We really love this feature of the light. The product description states it has larger solar panels, but it should say its much more pretty than the ugly square panel on many lights out there. It changes from high to low light quite easily, by removing globe & flipping the switch (see picture 3). Now our not so favorite things about the light. We really don’t see a noticeable difference from high to low light. The high light setting at 7’ high feels more like mood lighting than visibility lighting. For as high tech as this is, the ability to not have it only be dusk to dawn (make it on/off capable) would be a great addition and make it the perfect light for us. We feel this is a 5star light, even with our “not so favorite things” noted. We still love its look!

The GAMA SONIC Plaza 1-Light Black Resin LED Outdoor Solar Post Light has a 3” pipe fitter and a wall mount option. I opted for the wall mount option in my garden. It is very easy to install by screwing the proper parts together and attaching the wall mount with the included screws however, I swapped the screws for stainless since I was attaching to a pressure treated fence. The light works fantastic but the clear globe was a tad harsh for me so I etched the inside of the globe to diffuse the light and in turn, It glows more. It also casts light over a large area on either high or low setting. Gama Sonic is my #1 go to for outdoor solar lighting.

Love the quality of Gama Sonic solar lanterns. I have several installed around my current landscape and previous homes and all are going strong. Guests are surprised when they see the solar panel and marvel at the quality of the light build and the brightness of the lights. And, the Plaza black resin solar post light is true to Gama Sonic's build quality. What's great about this light is you can install either on a 3in post or using the aluminum bracket install on a flush wall. We've chosen to use the Plaza lantern to replace an electric post light that has seen better days. That light actually became an eyesore and we've just never gotten around to removing it. But with Gama Sonic, you can update an old post light with a quick swap of the lantern. The light from this lamp is really the best I've seen from Gama Sonic and the styling is a very modern upgrade to traditional post lights. They continually improve the bulbs and technology. The polycarbonate globe is unbreakable and virtually scratch resistant. I really like the integrated solar collector - at 360* you can just about install this light even in shade locations. As long as several hours of sunlight get to the light you're good to go. We keep our Gama Sonic lights on "Hi" and the light easily lasts till dawn. But in a shaded area you may want to select "Low" to prolong the light through the night. One issue I did have with this light is to install the post fitting "Y" piece you remove two screws that attach the face plate to the light. It's easy to locate those screws as they're the only ones spaced matching the bracket arms. My dexterity isn't very good as I've aged and I really struggled with getting those short screws to bit into the threads of the lamps face. But other than that, this light is beautiful. We look for many years of service with this one.

This is another solar light from Gama Sonic that not only looks awesome, but performs perfectly from dusk to dawn. The morph technology solar panel allows the sun to reach from any direction to charge the batteries. It is made of resin, so it is lightweight and there are no worries about rust. It can be used with the included 3" fitter mount or the wall mount. I chose the wall mount to install on a wooden post that has a farm bell on top. Installation was quick and easy and it stayed lit all night on the first night (I have it on the High setting). The 24-watt equivalence lighting shines onto a large area near the garage that was previously very dark. The plastic globe that protects the insides screws off, giving access to the battery area, LED bulb, and the High/Off/Low switch. I like that no tools are required for changing the setting. The bulb is A60, 20W, 2700K, Warm White, 3v. This light can also be used with a Bright White LED bulb (6000K), or a Flame bulb with simulated flame LEDs. The batteries are Lithium-Ion GS32V30. There is a 2-year limited warranty.

This solar light fixture is perfect for outside areas where you dont have power. The light is really easy to put together and it came with screws to hang it on a fence or wall, or you can use the post attachment if you have a post to put it on. I dont have a post, so I mounted it to a wood support. This light has two brightness modes- i used the less bright mode and it is plenty of light for my needs. It works great and comes on automatically at dusk.

I love this! The Gama Sonic Plaza outdoor solar post light has one LED bulb and comes with options to either put it on the 3 inch post or to mount it. I mounted this and it looks so good. It needs 24 to 48 hours of direct sunlight at first for it to work but when it does it is so bright! It automatically turns on at dusk and shuts off at dawn. It has high or low setting. It is also weather resistant. It is by far the best solar light I have seen yet with the morph technology which absorbs more of the sun for power. I would definitely recommend this product. It is of excellent quality and lights up a whole section of the back yard.

Gama Sonic just keeps getting better. This solar post light is a real game changer. The one main problem all solar lights have is the sun itself, or lack of it. With this unique and clever design this light can pick up the maximum amount of the suns rays no matter what time of year. I placed this light on the same post that another Gama Sonic light spent years on! It still works, but now its in my backyard. I was very happy to see two quality batteries included in this unit. Assembly was easy, and you can turn the light two power levels without having to take it apart.

When you get the shipping box it has a label that says “best solar lamp post in the world.” Well, I haven’t done enough research to prove this, but I would definitely say it’s a contender. The lamp itself is heavy duty as is the mounting accessories. The lamp can be mounted either on a post or on a wall. It comes with a nice LED light bulb which you can set to low or high brightness.

GAMA SONIC Plaza 1-Light LED Solar Post Light with 3in Fitter and Optional Wall Mount We selected this attractive solar light to illuminate our front porch area at night, and boy does it do just that (see 1st photo). The illumination it provides is much more than any other solar light we have owned. And at way past 3:30 am, it’s still illuminating! So, its battery is high quality as well. What is even more impressive about the battery life, is our front porch receives little to no direct sunlight with its Northern exposure, but faces our open front yard that is in direct sunlight most of the day. So, this solar light is seemingly very effective collecting this adjacent sunlight. Of course, being solar powered, it gives us the flexibility to “power” it where it otherwise would be impossible due to a lack of a coincidental electrical service outlet. Packaging of the top post mount component was first class with each piece bubble wrapped (see 2nd photo) and pilloried. Likewise, the optional “wall” mount was equally protected in transit (see 3rd photo) in a separate packaging layer. We selected this wall mount because we wanted this light on our front porch post facing the sidewalk that leads up to the front door. Attaching the included mount to achieve that was made easier by predrilling the necessary screw holes for the large stainless steel mounting screws (see 4th photo) supplied with the mount. The mount works well with our porch post presentation (see 5th photo), and with the solar light assembled to it, even more attractive than we imagined.

This is another great product from Gama Sonic that delivers a strong and reliable light source for your home. I already have several solar lights by them in my yard and they provide a good and bright light and this new one is really great. Very easy to install and this model gives you the option of a post or wall mount with the necessary hardware(except for the pole). The light is powered by the top solar panels that collect from the sun and even provide light at night on cloudy days. The brackets are metal while the light structure is plastic and includes the LED lightbulb. There is a toggle switch for on/off/low/high settings and the conical shape of the solar hood looks attractive. I recommend wiping down the light and the solar collectors for maximum collection when you notice dirt, debris or pollen. I can confidently say that Gama Sonic makes high quality items that last and will give your home light at night while looking really good!
