The valve was poorly manufactured. The union nut from the radiator could not be connected to the valve. I bought another valve from a different seller at half the price of Home Depot's and it connected with no problem. I returned the valve to Home Depot for a refund, which I smoothly received.

looks good and works well.
I was replacing some hardwood floors in my bedroom, had noticed when I removed the radiator the seal was totally shot and couldn't find replacement innards anywhere. After I had searched smaller hardware stores with no luck I figured I would check HD's website, thank god I found a whole new valve to get rid of the old one. This valve serves its purpose, works well, doesn't leak, and looks a whole lot better than the old one.
