Bmack, you can use Henry 208R on a metal roof but the best one to use on metal is Henry 209XR because it has the highest percentage of rubber of all our Wet Patch leak stoppers. This is important because of the way that metal heats and cools throughout the days and nights.
Homeowner, you can apply Henry 208R in the rain or even underwater. For best results you should do a 3-course patch which is illustrated on the can label.
Dave, you can use Henry 208R to make leak repairs on a mod bit roof.
Dave, Henry 208R is a very thick product and should be applied with a trowel, or putty knife.
JG61, Henry 208R does not set up fast. In fact, it takes about 30 days to completely cure. You do not need to worry about it setting up quickly while you are applying it.
Reggie, we would not recommend using Henry 208R on the inside of a metal livestock water trough since it contains very aggressive solvents. You could use Henry 900 if you apply it to a dry surface and let it cure for at least 24 hours.
Howard, the coverage rate of Henry 208R is 12 square feet per gallon when applied at 1/8" thick.
