Grow bigger and more beautiful plants with Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food (vs unfed plants). This gardening product feeds plants instantly. In addition, it's safe for all plants and won't burn plants when used as directed. Use with all types of indoor or outdoor plants, including flowers, vegetables, houseplants, roses, trees, and shrubs. This plant food may be used with container plants or in-ground gardens. To apply to indoor plants, use the small end of the included scoop (1/2 tsp) and mix plant food with 1 gallon of water in a watering can. Reapply every 2 weeks. For outdoor plants, use the large end of the included scoop (1 1/2 tbsp) and mix with 1 1/2 gallons of water in a watering can. Reapply every 7 to 14 days. When using in large garden areas, fill a Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder (sold separately) and follow feeder directions. For best results, just soak the soil at the base of each plant to fertilize the roots. One 1.5 lb. container of Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food feeds approximately 600 sq. ft. of garden area.

how long, time wise, for 100 sq ft
Hey Dick Thank you for your question on using Miracle-Gro® Garden Feeder 1lb covers 400 sq ft. and dispenses in about 10-12 minutes. 1/2 lb cover 200 sq ft per label instructions. You wouldn't need to spray a 100 sq ft area for the recommended timing.
I have 2 small bags of Miracle Grow that have become wet .... how do I safely dispose of the product. Can I use on lawn?
Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food can still be used even if it becomes wet. For disposal instructions, please reach out to your local solid waste company. Plant foods are not recommended for lawns because their NPK ratio is not optimized for turfgrass needs.

How much miracle grow do you spray on each vegetable?
It depends on the vegetable. For most fruits and vegetables, we recommend applying 1 gallon of the mixed solution per 10 square feet. Tomatoes however, we recommend a gallon of the solution per plant. Will it harm the outdoor garden plants if applied on the ground and watered well
When used according to the directions on the label, Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food, will not harm outdoor garden plants. When applying to outdoor plants (In-Ground or Containers), it is best practice to only water and feed at the base of the plant. However, our water soluble plant foods can be applied to the leaves as well. If applying to leaves, apply in the morning or afternoon, should not apply in the evenings to leaves.
Is yours not working? Here's why: The "How To" picture on the Home Depot website is misleading. Before using, you must unscrew the container of fertilizer and remove the plastic film, THEN attach it to the hose and squeeze the trigger.
