Can this be used under metal roof panels?
how long will this last as a tempoary roof
Can this be used as underlayment for harwood floors like they did in the 1970's?
I used it under hardwood floor to reduce squeaks but Rosin paper is cheaper and works just as well for squeak prevention. I still use it during installation as a shim when i find a low spot in the floor and don't have time for level quick to dry.
Refer to the other answer by jimmy21. Red Rosin paper is NOT an acceptable paper for use with wood floors. For SOLID wood floors, use this #15 Felt, silicone vapor shield or Aquabar B. For ENGINEERED wood floors, use an underlayment made for wood floors.
