Thank you for your interest in our products and reaching out! The connector on the Rubbermaid FastTrack Garage Utility Hook (Model # 1784461) is 2 inches in length.
The arc is a 6" diameter and the arms are 3" apart.
Hi JT, I just took measurement of the hook. It is 6". My local HDstore only had one size. I don't know if FasTrack makes this paerticular hook in other sizes.
8 inches out from wall 4 inches deep sent pics
It’s 8 “ from the wall out and 4” trough enclosed pics.
No but you can screw to the wall without using the track
No, there is no need to put a screw in this hook. I have four of these systems with a variety of hooks and hangers on them. You can easily change them around and slide the hook on the track. I guess if you never wanted to move the hanger you could secure it with a screw but there is no need. I have weed eater, gas blower, heavy utility cords, shovels, ladders and a variety of items hanging on my systems and never had a problem. Once that track is secured properly you are good to go.
No you don’t have to put a screw in it. The Fasttrack track keeps everything in place when you are removing items
The hooks snap into place but can slide side to side, the hole at the top is probably for a set screw so it can keep the hook more steady.
If you want them fix not to change you can put a screw. I personally don't use a screw and it works fine.
Hi Chuy, you should get the multi purpose tool hook. Mine holds my two cycle toro trimmer and one other garden tools.
There is a straight longer hanger to use.
I used a extension cord tie from home depot looped through handle and use it to hang from hook was able to put blower and weedeater on same hook able to get all yard tools off the floor
George, I don't know if they make a single hook or not, but I found several different kinds of FasTrack hooks that seem to work with all kinds of implements.
