Am I suppose to put water or sand in the bucket? Ciggs are not extinguished.
Hi Gab, this product is meant to be use as a place to put cigarettes that have been put out already. No sand or water goes in the base. I reached out to Rubbermaid, because on their website it states that this has a flute design to extinguishes cigarettes. Rubbermaid stated it is only for the disposal of unlit cigarettes or cigars.
