                            Great saw
The vintage 79's Black and Decker (older than I am) finally gave it up and I was looking for a replacement. I'd recently had the chance to use a cordless left had blade saw but with technology changing as fast as it is, and the saw I'd been using was close to 50 years old I thought I'd stick to corded. That said I was now looking for a really good saw that I'd have around for a while, and I did like the left hand blade. I'd actually picked this saw out without really considering price. I'm very pleased with the build quality, performance, ease of use as well as value for money. Would definitely recommend.

                              This saw is great.
I bought this 4 years ago. I use this mostly for custom cabinet installs. This saw cuts pretty smooth. Put a fine blade in it, it cuts laminate, malamine, coroan tops with very little chipping. I plunge out sinks in tops with it. The first job I used it on was scribing laminate floating shelves into a wall, cut clean both sides. I was really impressed when I had a corian top, 2” thick with a double waterfall that was 1/4” too long in length, I had to recut one of the 45’ bevels with the saw and a stright edge, I set the saw to 45’ and it turned out beautifully. I’ve used it for casing door frames, cutting 45’s, instead of lugging a chop saw. Its a very nice saw. I made a few jigs for it and a long and short guide rail out of 1/4” ply. We are suposed to be tradesmen, not consumers. Its a bit heavy, but I’d rather have a heavy saw. It still works great after 4 years. Makita makes nice saws.
