Deck, structurally sound, entirely covered by house roof. Years ago, Olympic rep sold me a lightly tinted Olympic clear oil stain, advising re-coat every few years. Just re-coated. After 2 weeks, looks good but still washes off with detergent. Varnish?

Can I use this to re-coat my interior original hardwood floor.
Thanks for reaching out! We're so glad to hear of the success you had with the Rust-Oleum Varathane Spar Urethane. Spar's are used for exterior applications due to the flexing of the wood. The wood needs to expand and contract with temperature changes and for this reason, this product is going to remain a little softer to allow for that movement. We would advise against use of this product for an interior wood floor because it would not hold up properly and would also not handle foot traffic.
