The Gibraltar Galvanized Drip Edge Flashing is made from reliable 28-Gauge galvanized steel. This Drip Edge Flashing provides protection from water damage along the eaves and rake of a roof. The extra "kick" at the bottom of the face directs run-off away from the structure. Gibraltar Drip Edge Flashing can be used with asphalt shingles or metal roofing panels.

Thank you for your question. This item is recommended for roof slope of 3/12 pitch or greater.
Thank you for your question. This item had been primed then painted. It's not recommended to paint if painting is required please use an unfinished product.
Thank you for your question. Please contact your local Home Depot store for availability.
Thank you for your question. The eave drip edge is installed and then the underlayment and/or ice-water barrier. Please see installation information in the link below. I would also suggest to contact a local contractor and the local building code office for guidance with your project. https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/9e/9e4b0d28-ca3a-4429-a71c-005954b69abf.pdf
No, inside is metal grey.
I used the flashing because I did not want to use a traditional gutter material. I used clear sealant to attach the flashing atop of to the existing roof.
Thank you for pointing this out to us. The image on-line @ homedepot.com was a different Roof Edge. Pictured was the style D, Roof Edge, which offers an overhang not just the straight 90 degree bend with a kick-out. This has been removed and the correct installed photo is being uploaded. We appreciate you taking the time to inform us of this oversight!
Thanks for your inquiry. Galvanized steel flashing can be painted and can be done to extend the life of the flashing or simply to create a different look. As long as the old finish is well adhered to the metal, it will provide a great surface for a new coating. If you decide to paint we recommend using a good quality DTM (Direct To Metal) paint. To prepare the surface wipe down with (50/50) vinegar and water solution, this will remove any residue remaining from fabrication.
HI SoCalGirl, for sidewall or roof to wall flashing we recommend RW23G, Home Depot sku 980203 as it is angled/pitched to feed wall moisture onto the panels for drainage. Have a great day:)
