I have an existing mount, 6.65 x 6.65 inches, but my new light fixtures overhang the bottom by an inch or so. Is there an oblong version, or perhaps a larger version? Note it is for siding with about a 1/2 inch lap.

Is this the version I would use on Hardiplank lap siding? or would it be the Dutchlap one? The product descriptions aren't really providing the answer. my siding thickness is about 3/8".

Can I use this over a rectangle junction box that is cut into the siding?
This product is designed for mounting light fixtures directly to siding, not over existing junction boxes. It has a built-in electrical box.
