Will this fit Certainteed Monogram clapboard siding tightly?
Can you use this mount to install a Floodlight Camera?
Yes. With the caveat that the model of flood light cam you are using is designed to be mounted on a standard junction box. I am using one of these to mount a Wyze cam floodlight pro without any issues.
Can this siding mount be installed like the photo I have provided? Just the wire thru siding, etc.

With the use of this siding plate, should the existing metal junction box be removed? If so, is there a fire risk?
I think you need to use your existing junction box to attach this to but I think will need two longer threaded rods from org box to the cross bar on this. Too bad HD does not have the install inst. link to click on.
Why would you need the metal box? It says it is an electrical box and UL.
I have one of these on the siding on my patio, how can I seal off the box and enclose the wires . I would take it down but it is cut into the siding and I don't want leave a hole there I need a cover that will screw into the holes.
You can get a round cover plate and seal it using silicone caulk.
