Questions & Answers
From the answers, I still don't understand if 1 package has 2 pieces for one side of the drawer, or 4 pieces to do both sides of the drawer. Please clarify earlier answers. Thanks
Thank you for your question! To clarify, one package of our Hickory Hardware 14" Side Mount Euro Drawer Slide (model P1750/14-W) includes 1 pair of slides—that is, two pieces total: one left-side slide and one right-side slide. This single pair is all you need to install one complete drawer.
You need to correct the description as this slide is a side mount not a bottom mount. Also it is NOT ball bearing. I would consider these but would like to see an accurate description
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’ve updated the product details to clearly indicate that this is a side-mount drawer slide, not a bottom-mount slide. Additionally, the description has been revised to accurately reflect that it features roller operation rather than ball bearings. \ We appreciate your feedback — it helps us ensure that our product information is accurate and transparent. We hope this updated description makes it easier for you to consider this slide for your project.
I have faced cabinets. Your ad says a "rear bracket is required." Is this bracket different than the "rear adjustable bracket" shown in your photos?
Yes. The P1700/BKT-W bracket is designed to match this 22" White 3/4 Extension Side-Mount Drawer Slide, ensuring proper alignment and smooth operation when installed in face-frame cabinets.
If I buy a 24" set, will the rear adjustable bracket allow the slide to be no more than 23.5" long?
No — even when using the rear adjustable bracket, the 24" drawer slide still requires the full 24" of cabinet depth. The bracket helps with positioning and mounting to the back of the cabinet, but it does not reduce the required slide length. If your cabinet depth is only 23.5", the 24" slide will not fit properly. We recommend using the 22" slide length instead to ensure correct clearance and smooth operation.
Your ad says this has a rear adjustable bracket. If I buy a 22" set, how far will this adjustable bracket allow the slide to extend past 22"?
The rear adjustable bracket on this 22" White 3/4 Extension Side-Mount Drawer Slide is designed to help with alignment and installation at the back of the cabinet. However, it does not increase the functional length of the slide. The slide will still extend to 22" — the bracket simply ensures proper mounting and smooth operation, especially in frameless or face-frame cabinets.
Do these come in 100 lb. Rating??
Thank you for your question! The Hickory Hardware 14 in. Side Mount Euro Drawer Slide (P1750-14-W) has a 75 lb. load capacity and is not available in a 100 lb. rating. If you need a higher-capacity option, Hickory Hardware does offer other heavy-duty slide styles designed for increased weight support.
Does this have the soft close feature
Hello, these do have a self-closing feature, but we do not offer a roller style one that is a soft close as well.
Description says the maximum expandable length is 24 inches. Can it be used in a face frame cabinet that is between 23 and 24 inches long/deep?
For cabinet depths of 23-24-1/2", we would recommend the 22" drawer slide.
