The VF4000 is for general purpose dirt and the VF6000 is designed for very fine filtration such as allergens, pet dander, and mold spores, VF7000 for liquid pickups and VF8000 that is 99.97% efficient at filtering dry particles 0.3 microns or larger. Additionally, there are also several filters that you can use for your unit aside from the filter mentioned above. It would be depending on what type of debris you are planning to pick up. For standard or typical basement or garage dirt, you can use the VF3400. For fine dust, such as drywall or cement dust, you must have the VF3500. We also have a filter made of HEPA rated material known as VF3600. This filter is best recommended for picking up pollens and allergens. Furthermore, we have VF3700 foam filter specifically designed only for liquid pick-ups or water-borne debris and VF3800 HEPA Filter for enhanced air filtration. It is part of our newly designed vacuum filter that includes modifications to the design of our filters and filter cages for improved usability and efficiency. The newer filter cage is designed to accommodate our updated QWIK Lock filters, which have a pre-installed rubber cover on one end. These filters are designed differently from our older open-ended filters and do not require the use of the filter nut. Instead, they come equipped with a QWIK Lock stud that securely locks the filter in place without the need for additional hardware.
